They did a great job on Lakeside.

33 tears ago for me. But the towers were worse. I was happy to be in Pearson.

no. There was a long term plan to do them in stages. COVID slowed it down a couple of years. The new Lakeside Village was the only addition.

Now the old Hecht and Stanford are being replaced by the above..

This is the dorm being built on the former site of Hecht. They reconfigured some roads and knocked down some old buildings to make room for Lakeside. They also haven’t even started on the work to redo Mahoney-Pearson (7th Floor Crew dorm).

If they would've attached a couple dorm rooms to the old Rat I would've lived on campus until I was at least 30.

Mahoney for me. 2 rooms with 1 bathroom shared by both.. concrete and tile..no marble, granite or luxos in sight...1 twin bed too...but what awesome memories...
