Do you all mind writing an update on our recruiting efforts? Maybe one central place? I am wondering, of the committed kids we have, who is likely to stick? Who is likely to bolt? What new targets do you seeing us recruiting now? Do you mind updating how many of each position you think we will take? Still see a full 25 class, less or more?

I'm starting to worry that this is the Episode 4 of the great Shalaling.

Richt's recruiting so far looks like Shannon and Golden's starts.

We need to start hitting our needs WR,CB,S,OL with high quality recruits.

I think Amari is coming.

I would monitor Darrian Felix considering how Oregon is falling apart, it's between him and the Etienne kid that we offered that is taking a spot in Oregon class. I'm very high on Felix potential.

I would also monitor Hillery, he's still taking visits and staff is making hard push at guys like Slaton and Telfort.

Wasn't too happy with Dysktra performance at paradise. Was rumors he's flirting with Iowa state but rumors are rumors.

Not happy with our WR class. We need to get some more explosiveness. I like Dingle but he's more of a possession type and I think little Njoku will need some time(like his jump ball ability though)

Really would like for us to add another Lb in the class.

Not sure what is going to happen at corner at this point. Edwards is shaky right now and Brini might be coming but I don't have either pegged as true corners. Think they will be boundary type and play some safety here and there.

You think staff would accept Wilder commitment?

It will be a nice class. Probably ranked 8-12..Nothing crazy tho. I'd say it'll be closer to dissapointing then exciting. In all reality.

Could you elaborate more on OLine commits/targets?
How about our standing with the OLinemen targets?
Avery? Chandler? Any chance we sneak back in for Brahms if Auburn keeps going downhill? Remote possibility Leatherwood comes for an unofficial before following up with an official?

The two positions that have the most playing time available and grow on trees in SOFL, we are struggling to recruit. We have Bandy and Dingle who can contribute right away. Other than that very disappointed considering we aren't really in the hat for too many people. Holloman is not coming (I don't care what anyone says) Smith is a long shot. Who is behind them? Idk I'm also nervous because we are losing 3 more seniors in the DB back field. Jesus I can't wait until we have a full 85 stacked

This. That's why I said it was Golden/Shannon esque

If we lose dudes and fail on nsd there ai t a difference in recruiting between last staff and this one. We better close strong

We need to finish with holloman, slaton, and telfort those are the guys we need to focus all our efforts on, still need a true cover safety here, we might start james next season thats not good

BIG DIFFERENCE, current group develops players, the other two jerks were clueless, if you can't see that then you are clueless as well.

Team still desperately needs elite athletes at the skill positions. It is disheartening to continually fail to land the elite kids in S. FL, we will never compete at the top level until kids like Jeudy start coming to Miami

It's like you all expect us to be elite in recruiting all of a sudden after 5 games...Jesus Christ guys. Everyone wants to see how we respond and how we finish this season. No doubt our new staff can develop talent but it's not like we will all of a sudden be pulling elite guys. Give it time.

The hope was that this new staff would at least raise the level of play on the field to attract higher level recruits. On defense this seems true. I just can't figure out why a defense which has radically changed for
The better AND has a need for dbs next year is struggling to keep cbs. Again I am still stunned as to the stupidity of
Banda with the Edwards recruitment.

Our offensive output, however, looks like the mid 2000s under Coker where we started to look
stale. We need a guy like Harley at the least as another injection of speed. A final
Wr take would be a guy like Sherrod Johnson or Edwards who will both be very productive receivers regardless of
Where they sign. Throw in Carmoni Green, too.

Telford and Slaton (or even chandler) are musts. 2 of those 3
Guys.

I'm worried we're going to ***** up CB recruiting again. 2017 was supposed to be the year. Now 2018 is supposed to be the year and that group could very well fall apart. You can't keep pointing to next year.

I also don't buy the "we need to win first" mantra. Good sales people (which is what recruiting is) are able to sell kids on the future.

CB recruiting should never be a problem in So Florida. In fact, you should never have to point to "next year" with CBs because there are virtually always good ones available.
