Pete, DT recruiting

we need 3 to 4 DTs unless some of the Juniors are coming back. This position and OL is my biggest concerns in this class

We need d tackles in the worst way. Even if one stays we need a minimum of 3. If we can grab Briggs trout and Thompson or Friday I think it's a no brainer.

Most have Oladele as a DE, I think it's a 50/50 shot he moves inside with that huge frame...And I know we are high up on Briggs list.

Are you hearing anything on the following?

Chatman (Is Ivins correct we are now not interested?)
J.Davis (you felt strongly a couple months back he'd be in this class...Any news?)
Trout
Sandidge

Or any other names...

Thanks in advance.

Oladele is not moving inside. Nothing about his frame says DT. Kid is a DE all the way.

Nah totally disagree...Could see it either way, but that frame looks like a DT to me.

We landed one last year and coach Kool needs to be recruiting more savages this year. One thing about the teams winning championships they load up in the trenches every year .

DT will work itself out as long as Kool is here. He doesn't need to be Trooper Taylor as a slick recruiter. He can recruit with something called results and track record.

He'll find good players and develop them. They might not be the big recruit star heroes like Keith Bryant, Fat Valentine or Lil' Shaver Manuel. But he'll find dogs he will mold into killers.

Don't be surprised to see us continue to look at big-framed HS DEs with good motors and not the typical 300+ pound oaf with a questionable motor who occasionally overpowers HS OL.
