Pete, Choc Gray?

Cager is a big time talent.

He ran a 3.94 20 yard shuttle at the 2014 NIKE Opening. That is almost unheard of for a 6'4" WR.

For comparison, Calvin Ridley ran a 4.15 20 yard shuttle at the same event.

Cager is going to be a **** good player. I also think Harris will really step up his game as the talent is there for sure.

Also literally no one except the person in this thread has written off Cager . In fact he is talked about as one of the break out dudes next season.

Who is writing Cager off?

He will be the #2 guy next year. Elite talent.

Everybody's ready to write Cager off, but still think this guy's got a shot? I'd be shocked if he ever saw meaningful minutes at any position.

Lol u cant make this up.....lets see by next season how many people say he hasnt fully recovered or the injury changed him when hes been the same since he signed

I think the kid will be good, but then again after a year I thought Asante Cleveland was going to do good things for Miami.

Didn't golden blow asante up like 45 pounds? kid looked very good as a fresh.

That's my point. You want to give the fumbler the ball? Like if it's thrown first it will be stickier?

Don't running backs by virtue of what they're asked to do fumble more than wide receivers?

But you're right. We should abandon his virtues because he's fumbled a couple of times. People don't get better at things.

No no, you've convinced me. There's no reason that 2 different coaching staffs haven't put that kid on the field. And I'm sure it never occurred to either of them to try him at a different position. We only had 3 RBs with game experience this season, how could they possibly afford to try him at something else. It's not like there were any glaring weaknesses on ST or anything.

Gray was injured this year.

And before that? He's had 2x as long as Cager to prove himself and hasn't, and not because we're so loaded with talent. I don't know what the issue is, but it really looks like there is one.

Look, if he can contribute or god help me be a star I'll be beyond happy. ****, I'll gladly change my name to something with cuck in it if Gray ends up being a star, I just don't think it's very likely. Whereas it is quite likely that Cager contributes.

Yeh just pointing out that you're being disingenuous by saying two different coaching staffs haven't put him on the field. I think we all knew he didn't have a true position coming out of HS. Given our lack of depth at WR, it seems obvious to try him out there.

Berrios ran like 3.81...which i think would be top3 NFL all time shuttle.

Who gives a **** about the shuttle drill? Can u get open? can u catch the ball? Can you block when needed? Berios can't do any of those and I have not seen enough of Cager to determine. If Gray can give us 2 out of the 3 that I just mentioned get his *** on the field.

Berries can catch and block. Of course getting open is nice too, but two out of three right?

He's fumbled at least twice in his ~30 carries at Miami. You like that statistic?

He was hurt last year. And would you be surprised if I told you Golden wasn't very good at maximizing a player's talents?

But, like, don't respond anymore. You're not fun talking football with because you showed up with horse blinders on. You're a small brained, bird chested, narrow shouldered ****, and I don't like you.

And I was trying so hard. Whatever, calling me names doesn't change the fact that Gray hasn't done anything and doesn't look like a guy who ever will. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I have never seen anything close to elite from Cager. By WR standards he is slow, struggles to get separation, and had pathetic YAC.

And that was as a true freshman. Kid has the chance to develop into a nice compliment to Richards and be a solid possession receiver.
