People really want this crybaby?

An old buddy of mine has deep ties at Ole Miss and has been close to the program for years.

I asked him during Kiffin's first or second year in Oxford what he thought and it was pretty cut and dried:

"Not a good guy."

If his dad wasn't an all time great defensive mind we would have never heard of this fool. That OOC schedule is a complete joke. Lost to UF with the playoffs on the line lol Easily worse than losing to Syracuse with the playoffs on the line.

The home loss to UK was even more inexcusable.

Smartest guy in the room couldn't figure out how to put up more than 17 points on a bottom-tier SEC roster

If you take personalities out of it (which I do because I'm an adult) there's no way you can say that his record here would be 5-7, 7-6, 10-3. Until proven otherwise (and MC still has time to correct this) Kiffin is empirically superior to Mario as a HC.

Not that anyone's keeping record, but I wanted Kiffin over Mario. Since we have MC, I'm pulling for him and I still think he can correct this ship, but I don't think any reasonable person thinks that we wouldn't have had a better record with Kiffin over the last 3 seasons. Also, winning coaches are usually irritating to fans of other schools. Heck, Saban has maybe the most boring personality in sports and I found/find him irritating because of the cheating+hypocrisy.

Anyhoo, hoping Mario pulls a Harbaugh here.
Get Kiffin's **** out of your mouth.

Why would Kiffin have had a better record? Please list all these amazing differences that would have had Kiffin on a substantially better trajectory.

He's never won anything of consequence anywhere he's been. Bolted on Tenn, run out of town by USC and the Raiders, and then at Ole Miss is a 2nd tier SEC team that loses inexplicable games every year.

This ***** had a pathetic schedule this year and lost 3 games:

Someone please send the crybaby a memo now, to spare us, because he WILL get left out again if he doesn’t go 10-2 with the schedule he has next year.
Home- LSU, USCe, UF
Away- UGA
Then, the rest….
Wait, forgot to mention they have to go to Kentucky…smh.

These stats basically show half of Kiffin's success is at G5 FAU

Kiffin was:
7-6 at Tenn
8-5, 10-2, 7-6, 3-2 (fired) at USC
5-5, 10-3, 8-5, 11-2, and 10-3 at Ole Miss

Kiffin has two wins at Ole Miss vs Top 10 teams in five years.

He's the same coach as Mario.

So, you don't think that Kiffin would have performed better overall for the last 3 seasons?

Lane has 4 P4 10 win seasons, Mario has 3. Lane has coached more seasons at this level too.

he had 10 wins this year and look at his schedule? it was weak AF.
yeah they beat UGA. UGA was down this year. they needed refs to bail them against out UF,UK, and literally rig a game against Ga Tech. UGA is a 5-6 loss team this year.

When u dweebs realize Lane is pushing an agenda so he doesn’t get left out again next yr, u’ll see he’s not whining vs. propagandizing.

Lane also is **** poor at accountability, which is y I’m more mad at these doofuses not calling him out on shooting his own foot on being left out of the CFP.

With that said, I’m in no way a Kiffin supporter, but we have to stop trying to compare Mario to other coaches. Again, in 2025 I refuse to allow this board to go down a slippery slope, b/c if it does, I will slap those who wanna go down that ride a quick dose of reality:

-Mario Cristobal HC record: 84-76 (.525)
-Lane Kiffin HC record: 105-52 (.669)

-Mario Cristobal Bowl record: 3-5
-Lane Kiffin Bowl record: 4-4

Cristobal @ Oregon: 35-13 (.729)

Miami (2011-2021): 83-55 (.601)
Cristobal @ Miami: 22-16 (.579)

Like ya’ll have to stop these false narratives that have propagated this board. I absolutely loathe Kiffin; I think he’s a prick, & even though I tried my damnest to derail the Lane Train Crew of ‘22, u would be an absolutely buffoon to say u wouldn’t want Lane here. He’s inherited much worst situations than Mario, including SC who were on full sanctions, & have done waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more w/ less resources.
