PS2 made up his mind a while ago, he's signing with Miami. Doesn't mean he doesn't respect the programs he visited and won't hear them out, but there's nothing I'm worrying about.

We will see, only reason I have concern with that take is in interviews he says it’s close between LSU and bama, but he did talk up Miami last week when he said he would visit after bama official

ARe you noticing a trend yet with the Heritage 4 talking up everyone else and not saying much about UM? Even Nesta had guys in here scared because he fed bad info to a coach who obviously was spilling the beans to the world. Nesta played that rat just like the cops do with informants.

From a very recent interview:

There is also a possibility that the longtime teammates could play for the same college.

It’s always been a possibility. We’ve been talking about it a lot, and if it happens, it happens,” said Surtain Jr.

See that’s where I differ name a Bama CB that is good that was a first round pick not named Humprehy bc still too young a career to say he isn’t a busy like the rest of the Bama players that enter the league. LSU makes more sense if he wants to go in the first round they have DBs all over the league. Artie already proved the Canes can produce DBs again if you come here. Minkah will go top 10 but as a safety. IMO if it’s strictly business he should go to LSU or Miami over Bama for leaving in 3 for the league. History proves this.

This isn't a chess match.

Its simple.

Which school gets Patrick Surtain Jr. to the NFL as a first round draft pick in three years? The answer to that question gets his services.

His dad was a 2nd round pick out of Southern Miss when there was no ESPN3 and no one ever saw him play on TV. He’s also 4 inches shorter than his son. Senior already said the NFL will see you no matter where you are. He can **** sure just as easily be a first rounder at UM as he can anywhere else.

This will come down to a kid who loves his family and has probably never been away from them for longer than a couple days choosing the team down the street from his house.

This will come down to a

I mean, they've had like 7 or whatever defensive backs drafted in the first round since 2010. LSU has had like 5. We've had 1.

Does it matter if they are "good"? Maybe to me and you, it matters. But to 18 year old Pat Jr. and in the league Pat Sr. I'd wager not. Its about getting there. Surely he thinks he is more talented than others.

I respect ur answer and opionion but I didn’t say DBs for a reason I said CBs they have plenty of of safeties in the league but he will be a CB all the way. They just don’t have many drafted in the first round

Agreed. Senior can be at practice every day if he wants to. He can help coach his son IN PERSON if he so chooses if junior stays in s fla.

Maybe I have my orange & green dad glasses on but it looks like a very nice situation to be in for the Surtain family. Plus if momma wants baby home, Richt is a great coach to stay home with

It makes too much sense.

Chise is right but kids are retarded and think the uniform gets u drafted, u get yourself drafted with your play. The nfl will notice u anywhere

For those wondering, PS2 is signing at school around 10 am next Wednesday, ESPN is going to have a segment on him and TC at that time.

There's like 15 kids signing at school that day as well.

I’m guessing Nesta doesn’t get airtime cause he is already committed? Chatfield not worth the air time along with TC, PSJ.

Just curious - what does "a while ago" mean? A few weeks/months?
