PS2 made up his mind a while ago, he's signing with Miami. Doesn't mean he doesn't respect the programs he visited and won't hear them out, but there's nothing I'm worrying about.

We will see, only reason I have Concerned is in interviews he says it’s close between LSU and bama, but he did talk up Miami last week when he said he would visit after bama official
LSU is out. He's moved on to better things than Orgeron telling him how good the BBQ is in Baton Rouge. He's between Miami and Alabama. If only we didn't suck throughout his childhood growing up in South FL this would be easy for him.

He's a gump but wasn't he a D Line coach at the U I heard he was good.

I think UM fired him after he got into a bar fight in Louisiana. Good technical coach but had anger issues, I believe. Quite a few years ago.

Put the TO chain on PS2 when he visits. Home sweet home.

I keep envisioning the AH4 ditching the customary hats in favor of the turnover chain on NSD on national TV

Would be legendary.

Someone needs to put that idea out there for the coaches to pitch. That would be incredible if they all sat on ESPN and announced for Miami while putting on a turnover chain! Brooklyndee make it happen!

I went back and forth with that I read one article that made it seem like Tyson was tired of being in PS2 shadow and compared it to the Lebron and Kyrie situation.

I have seen conflicting reports on this. I have seen that they have stated they do not want to play together in college and then someone posted earlier in this thread about they said it was possible they would.

Saw this on LSU board from 247 but Andrew bone reports on bama from rivals.com, this was posted 7 hours ago or so

Andrew Bone-
The latest: I continue hear positive vibes regarding Surtain and Alabama. He took an official visit to Clemson this past weekend. He is expected to visit Miami this weekend. LSU is definitely still in it, but don't think he ends up in Baton Rouge. There is a lot of talk lately about this becoming an Alabama-Miami battle. I think Alabama wins in the end

Andrew Bone is spot on when it comes to Bama. Unfortunately I grew up in Alabama and had to listen to my friends about recruiting and Andrew has always had good info. It’s good to see that it’s bexoming public this is a Miami vs Bama battle. It would be incredible if Richt can pull this off.

Yea I don’t believe they’re all silent to Miami that doesn’t sound right at all. But with that being said that doesn’t mean I can’t see them all singing with Miami after the visits but Bama is deffinetly in the drivers seat here until this weekend.

This isn't a chess match.

Its simple.

Which school gets Patrick Surtain Jr. to the NFL as a first round draft pick in three years? The answer to that question gets his services.

Do you think it really matters? He's likely a 1st Round pick after three years whether he goes to Miami, Alabama, or Western Kentucky.
I do think Rumph is a very good Xs and Os coach that could help his development. But it's not like he can't get good coaching at any one of dozens of universities.

So why not become part of a group of local legends that bring the U back to the promised land on the way to the NFL, rather than going to a place to which you have no ties, and to which you’ll never return, and that historically represents nothing about you?

I love that logic. It's amazing the way former Canes in the NFL return to the U so much. Everyone from the Rock to the Edge to Ed Reed. These guys come back here and remain a part of the program long after their college years. It's a special dynamic that you don't find at any other school.

To C. Campbell, reigning Defensive player of the year, who's from Denver, and he's not the only one of the current players. the list could be very long.

I pray you have some knowledge that no one else does. Brevin Jordan came out today saying I doubt he comes so you’re the only one claiming.

Where did you see this? Just wondering. Brevin Jordan is somebody who doesn’t kid around about this U.
Canesport has an article on it but I dont Have access so I’m assuming from that

I don’t care about reading it. It’s already been established that they don’t know and I’m not surprised about it either. Do you really think they’re going to let it out? The only one that probably knows is Nesta.

That’s my sentiment as well

This feels like a bigger version of the tracy howard recruitment, thing we have going is we are the program on the rise and with VERY good coaching! We are also a legit top 15 program, with them, top 5. They are too smart not to see that. Don't know anything, but my money is on them signing with us. That post last night by Baez was the best and finally had some incredible bit to it.

Heard they trying to keep everthing a secret. Only thing worth a secret is them playing together. Which a guy from TOS said, his GA booster friend, said it's rumored all 4 are silent to Miami, but who knows? @Rattler, can you tell me if your cuz trying to stay low key?

If we pull that off wow especially with most fans like me not confident, that would be legendary and it smacks other top level programs in the face. If we get all 4 it directly weakens the comp and if we do that yearly we will be back in no time.

Dan I hope your right bro. My brother in law is a teacher at AH and he believes all 4 going to UM. He says they are good kids and very very close to each other.

Soooo hearing that Bama's DB coach will go in-home with PS2 on Thursday.

You have to believe that Saban is WORRIED about Miami at this point and will try to run one last interference to stop this OV from happening.

Richt has to find a way to checkmate this situation tomorrow night.

I've been secretly thinking about that for a while!

That would go down in Recruiting History as one of the all time memories.

Do you think that would give us the #1 recruiting class in the country??

NOPE...the rankings would be amended/updated after signing day. somehow Surtain would then be the 15th ranked CB in the nation. the rest of the AH4 crew would also experience downgrades. Josh Jobe is now the #1 DB in the country!!!

makes sense, something is going on. They are very quiet

So if PS2 and TC want to play together at the next level, better chance of that being at home than Bama at this point I would think

They may already read Canesinsight LOL.

Btw, KkkaneOil thinks it's a bad idea, since his inbreds in Bama don't have that kind of swag

Absolutely. Its all that matters. The latter part of your post, I don't think is true.

I've said it for a while now, but I am a firm believer that Surtain Jr.'s decision is strictly business (tm Udonis Haslem). I'm sure he'd love to play with his boys for a former coach and if that is where Jr. wants to go because he believes Miami is where he'd be that R1 pick in three years and the friends aspect is a bonus, pops is all for it. But ultimately, this is a business decision with one goal in mind. This isn't a family that needs money but they got goals, clearly. I think their school choices say it all. Miami being "in it" this late is a hopeful sign, but I lack the faith others have here. I think the allure of Bama and LSU and what they've done with DBs in recent history is just too much.
