The depth is bad especially with how guys leave. You saw it first hand last year. Parrish is a good player and a perfect fit. If his rb coach wants to bring him that tells me everything.I wonder why...I liked Thad, he was tough to tackle at times (in limited work). Chaney I know is a question mark regarding health, but Parrish just screams a watered down Knighton to me. If someone disagrees, totally cool hearing another opinion, just my initial thoughts; I'm fine with stacking talent, but someone is transferring out - no way Brown or Thad are sticking around as the potential 5th option.
I missed that. **** I totally understand with being unhappy with the depth at rb and definitely agree with taking a transfer. We have the room for it.I mentioned other day Mario was very unhappy with the Rb room depth , so a portal kid was happening. They’re also pushing hard for a HS rb. In ‘23 I’d expect two .
Right .... I don't see why not. Wasn't he being debated as the top rb coming out of Florida his sr? Him, Chaney, Rooster?Take

I definitely like him over Brown, so cool with it after your synopsis. Thanks for the insight.Parrish and Knighton are very different players.
Parrish is a far superior runner. Better vision, instincts, and more fluid in his movements. Knighton is the better athlete. Faster, stronger, more explosive. I think you'd have a really good mix of styles with those 2, Thad, and Chaney.
I thought he was faster I remember his film. HS guys be looking fast vs HS guys. Do we really need a back or can wait till next class?Meh, looks ok
I think all the guys coming back are talented and with an improved oline and if the passing game can remain strong with the young receivers all the backs should improve on these numbersHere are their stats from 2020-2021 with P5 games only:
Cam Harris- 153 carries, 727 yards, 4.75 yards per carry
Jaylan Knighton- 188 carries, 711 yards, 3.78 yards per carry
The facts tell a different story than the narrative. I think Knighton is a better player because he's so dangerous as a receiver. But as a runner, both Knighton and Chaney lag behind to this point. Hopefully it changes because they are more talented.
Agree. I like the receiving option Parrish brings. Perfect fit.Parrish and Knighton are very different players.

shouldn't we have about 6 serviceable RBs (serviceable being the lowest quality of any of them) in order have sufficient quality depth?I mentioned other day Mario was very unhappy with the Rb room depth , so a portal kid was happening. They’re also pushing hard for a HS rb. In ‘23 I’d expect two .

Yep. I keep saying Mario wants playmakers not bodies. He will not fill out a roster with jags or guys he doesn't expect to help down the road. He will pocket a spot and save it before he adds a bum for numbers sakes. Rb is a physical position and mix that with guys leaving in the portal he knew he needed bodies.shouldn't we have about 6 serviceable RBs (serviceable being the lowest quality of any of them) in order have sufficient quality depth?
Think one is needed as Franklin/Brown are very pedestrian IMO. Hoping the Citizen dude jumps on boardI thought he was faster I remember his film. HS guys be looking fast vs HS guys. Do we really need a back or can wait till next class?
