If you read what I said earlier, I said that he has serious off the field concerns, with that being said, he is not a take for Franklin or Harbaugh due to these issues. They don't want to deal with a kid that has been kicked off his high school team and someone who has questionable character.

Um no, I watched his film and he seemed like he wasn't moving that fast. I don't care about stigmas, I judge with eyes watching film. Not by stars or 40 times like most here.

That's why I liked some of the three star prospects more than some of the 4 stars, some people can't get past stars or ratings. If this guy was a 3 star most here would be like " he's a nice prospect but his speed seems iffy"

Like I said " he's physical and is a definite take". I just don't see great speed , just because you have a good 40 doesn't make you play fast on the field. If you don't believe venture over to the Holmes thread.

Am I saying he's too slow? No, he's just doesn't seem all that fast. Which I think is greatly overrated , especially at safety.

I was on Thomas way before the UA game , go read his threads. I loved his CB film and wr film. That's way before he was the flavor of the month.

Which blows yalls " stigma " theory out the window . I could play the y'all are " star whores stigma if I wanted. If he wasn't rated so high would you guys be so hype?

Ford wasn't kicked out of high school...But he has attended 3 of them.

He is a little bit of a drama queen off the field and on social media, I have heard the off the field issues are nothing major at all. But the kid is a player. I don't think he'll leave Pitt in the end. Not a blazer, but plenty fast enough. Good with ball in his hands too, early on some liked as ATH or WR. Probably worth a shot because of upside.

he might not be a burner but it could be he is a long strider that makes him seem slow. honestly, he isnt playing top notch comp, he looks good in the AA game.
no way DJ johnson and Jeff Thomas practiced all week with him and are pursuing him because he isnt impressive.

Honest question. How can you possibly guess how fast he is when you've never seen him or his competition live. I'm not flaming but you can't actually put stock into your "eye speed test" just like you can't put stock into "hand timed".

Which makes my point. Everybody is hard for this dude because of his speed. That's it, that's all we know, he's fast , oh and from sfla. He literally has no CB film and isn't even raw at the position. A position that's just as technical as any position in football. If he ran a 4.55 people would lose their erections and say he's " meh". Even though many great CB run in that range.

Maybe somebody edited Fords film and slowed it down, true? That's what it is.

What's funny is how rustled people are at me saying he doesn't seem that fast " but look past me saying speed gets overrated , he's physical and a definite take".
