Paradise Camp 2017 (July 21-22)

We have a really nice campus, lots of places do. Our coaching staff is great, as it is other places. What we have is a tradition and a culture that has never been recreated by any university that tries. These kids get connected with the elite NFL alumni who are still personally invested in that culture with every ounce of their being, and they share that perspective with these kids. What Paradise Camp does is overwhelm our most coveted recruits with that atmosphere. It's not important for every recruit, but I guarantee you it gets us 2-3 a year. When a local guy, who considers a member of your staff a mentor doesn't attend, there is no way to spin it as being "OK."

Am I off here? I think it's a big deal that Elam is going to Paradise instead of Friday Night Bites at UiF.

RVA, you ain't been off - even on weekends when you were "off."

I think this is a big deal - even though a bit early - a mighty good sign. Sure enough, there may be some other surprises. This Paradise is getting to be a big deal, and this will only be our second Paradise.

LOL... We have a lot to be thankful for. We're busy worrying about and looking at who we don't have coming to Paradise and 1 or 2 guys we could lose but we still have a great core in this class and who knows... We could get lucky with a Micah Parsons type player at some point. Jeff Thomas seemingly came out of nowhere last year. I just know Archer and RVA will be there pulling for the U.

It's definitely a deal because his pops is Abram Elam & his uncle is former gaytor Matt Elam who's recently been arrested multiple as of about a month ago.

That Elam family name is pretty big in Palm Beach & I find it interesting that Abram didn't send Kaiir to Dwyer, but rather wants him at a private school setting.

I also think he knows the Crocs didn't help out his lil brother much at all & so I don't think they'll be much loyalty there.

Plus, Banda gets a lot praise from Coaches in PB, so maybe we have a better shot than we think (even though it's still a whole 2 years out lol).

Elam's connection is with Urban Meyer ...not UF. If OSU wants that kid they will be in the ball game.
