are you saying you've seen where we're not on pace for 50k?

i was assuming 55k-60k (sold, not butts in seats) but maybe that was being optimistic

UM ticket website isn’t letting me see or select seats anymore, just saying find best available. Says almost gone. I find that a bit sus unless they are giving away blocks of stuff in the 300s to groups.

Secondary market tickets are in the $30s and plentiful.

I don’t see that happening. 2017 was a total anomaly with the turnover chain and beat down of notre dame and v tech b2b. The game last week had a chance to be a catalyst for a solid crowd but it’s was a total snoozer and the casuals probably aren’t going to a nooner after last weeks performance against the worst fsu team in school history

They waited too long. This game was never going to sell well unless it was a night game so why not be more aggressive in marketing it. I know they did the no fees days but it obviously didn’t make a big impact for this game.

It’s amazing how many excuses we come up with for these ***** fans down here. The goalposts constantly moves

It’s not goalposts moving. It’s pretty much a fact. This fanbase has:

40k die hard fans who are able to make it to games on demand and don’t miss many games

Another 5-10k who are die hard fans who make it to the big ones or when the team is doing great. This population isn’t able to make it on demand but they still show up at least once a year.

The rest of the attendance that makes up big crowds at hard rock are opposing fans or games where the whole town is saying “are you going the game on Saturday?”. We have many casual fans in south Florida that will go if it turns into the event of the night. It’s very difficult to get those people out unfortunately
