Over 10’ Miami Canes miss practice, some with (non-COVID) virus. Others might transfer

You think that’s ok to do? Just not show up for practice at a school giving you a full ride? Are they still taking meals and getting treated for any injuries?

Regardless of who the coach is, that’s acceptable?

Do you think it’s ok for you to still defend Manure and this whole abortion of an administration? And do you think it’s ok for you to continue to blame the players and lie to the whole community with your agenda like that coward Manure does?

Ok, it's past time to let go of the @Go Canes!! as a punching bag.

He's very obviously talking about whether the behavior is acceptable, not any comment at all about Manny.

To answer his question, the short answer is no. But, I have been at a company that went bankrupt and while things were getting worked out about exactly what the future held, almost the entire staff was gone by 2 pm every day. It wasn't that they lacked work ethic or were lazy, it was just that they weren't going to put in as much effort as possible toward something that might get dissolved any. That ended when the company was bought and those same people gave their all to make the company a success. Hopefully that's the case here.

But but but, he's a Miami guy. Miami talent can only relate to people who know the Miami culture. So, Manny is the perfect cultural fit, so obviously the players love and respect him. They'd run through a brick wall for him, because he's a Miami guy. If Manny was from Iowa, we'd have a real problem on our hands now, wouldn't we?

Not at all surprising to read this and knew it was a lie just reading it. What a coincidence that the entire campus is hit with a virus (but not COVID because you can test for that) and it takes out a select group of disgruntled players after our season has hit DEFCON 1 levels.

Yes, Manny is already cooking up the excuses, but also to be fair, there is something going around, as I have it myself and the timeline was almost identical to his excuse timeline. Some type of cold. I got tested for covid and it was negative.

It is not acceptable, Brother! But who created the culture of lack of accountability? Who let Jarren Williams travel to Pitt a day after he skipped practice, regardless of the fact he won the game?

The players are doing what they want because they know they can get away with it. That’s all on the head coach!!! If he wants to set the example, then kick them off the team!!! But he can’t do it now because he wouldn’t have a team to play on Saturdays.

The article in the athletic made me want to puke. The spin master trying to say these are just growing pains. We aren't growing, we have regressed and that is because of **** poor leadership and recruiting.
