Covid or any other illness has nothing to do with any of this. You had more than 20 kids this past week and most of the same group this week as well skip practice. A good percentage of kids exploring transferring including quite a few of the young bucks. No one wants to play for this lisp having pedo... Fvck outta here with this clown show

This resonates both ways with me.
- I personally would not want to play for Diaz and some of these coaches, especially with what i've seen on the field. A few coaches seem ok but the overall feel of this program is that of a joke.
- That said, a player is showing true colors by skipping practice. It's one thing to be upset but it's another to quit. You don't get better if you miss practice. You don't get better for your next coach at Miami (or elsewhere) by skipping practice. Life doesn't get easier and just bc you don't like your boss, it doesn't mean you can just stop showing up, unless you plan to quit....be it in the NFL or real working world. All of that leads to character/leadership issues, which is the biggest virus in this program the last 5-6 years.

if this is the case, than not only do we need to replace the admin and the coaches, but we need to be dropping these players too.

Sorry man, but at the end of the day, these guys received a scholarship to play, and that means you show your *** up to EVERY practice, EVERY film study, EVERY lift, period. Even if you disagree with things that are goin on in the program.

How many of you show your *** up to work every day, knowing your boss is going to **** you off, or you have a client that is going to be a pain in the ***, or whatever.

DO we need better leadership in our Athletic Dept? Yes, probably
DO we need coaches that will hold players accountable, and learn how to manage a roster, etc., etc.? Yes we DO

But we also need a roster full of players that are there to play football and that's it., I am sick and tired of all of the "woe is me" bull**** I see amongst our youth, and if we do bring in another coach, I hope like **** he puts these kids in their place.

At the end of the day he shouldn't have even brought it up. Nobody wants to hear his BS excuses when we get curb stomped by a mediocre ACC corstal team. This is a no excuse business, VT won last year with like 25 players out with covid.

Agreed. I cant ever root for them to lose. Once the ball is kicked off its all in on winning the game every time out. I hate losing in anything anyways lol

Is it wrong I got disappointed when I saw an article that said Pope and Wiggins MIGHT hit the portal? **** I was getting excited for a moment.

U think a coaching change would be enough to talk the younger ones off the ledge? Depending on who it is anyway.
