Our fans need to stop tweeting players!!!

As I said in my long rant, and I will say it again, as others are also saying, it is ABSOLUTELY FALSE, that all the other boards are this bad. They are NOT. Im on several boards, and NONE have the over the top insults, venom and out of control hysteria that has totally taken over this board. It is also NOT going on on "every other team's boards" either. Wh0rechant, and many other sites do monitor and moderate their boards to keep the hysteria under control so as not to create a situation where the over the top fan behavior has a detrimental effect on the program and recruiting.

I think this board has reached the point where the owner/operators have to step in here and think about what is best for this program. I fully support an open forum to discuss ideas without overly restrictive policies and such, but there have to be some boundaries here. I mean I absoultely have NO doubt that this board HAS to be having a detrimental effect on recruiting right now. That is NOT to say that its caused anyone to waver or decommit, but there is NO way that this board is doing ANYTHING, other than making kids NOT want to come here. And that is just a sad and despicable situation for what is supposed to be one of the biggest and best Canes "fan" sites. I mean our "fans" on here, are hurting the program more than helping it at this point. And that's to say nothing of the mentally unbalanced f*cktards that are stalking teenagers on Twitter so they can trash them and insult them and make things even WORSE for us.

I mean we hitting rock bottom as a fan base here. Sh*t is embarassing.

I been saying this for years, in fact had U compliance verified it is a NCAA violation. I have seen some of the tweets thought that gone after Nigel, they were obviously not Canes fans portraying to be Canes fans (not following anyone Canes, just a name) and we are getting a bad rap by stupid folks trying to make us look worse; however, there are some real canes fans that have tweeted some completely stupid ****.

Follow recruits. not real problem.
Tweet recruits - creepy and a violation of NCAA rules (I know, how do they enforce it).

Either way, be a ******* adult and don't tweet recruits. If your kid was a recruit, would you want complete strangers tweeting your kid?
 
Guys those are fsu fans claiming to be Cane fans... They had a thread on their board about this last year laughing about it...

So I guess I'm making up the time that Tennessee fans were wishing Brandon Powell ripped the ACL's in both knees to shreds, or what Kentucky fans said about Tyre Brady, or the time Alabama fans threatened to murder their own place kicker, or the **** that every Gator fan said about Driskell after our game against them, and on, and on, and on, and on..........But yea, it's just Miami fans.....and it only goes on at this site.

I don't even bother reading his wall-o-text anymore. LOL. So he goes from claiming that Golden isn't doing a bad job recruiting, but if he is, this site is to blame.

Why follow recruits? If people are following recruits, they need to unfollow them. Stop paying attention to their pole dance and reacting to every indecision they make.

People need to stop tweeting these kids but these kids are divas they need to understand that for all the love you get your going to get just amount of hate.
If they don't want any of this hate make your twitter private stop making it a scene.
Some of these recruits just love the attention.
Fans are a two way street your either get cheered for or they boo you, theres no one without the other.
I feel no remorse for the **** these kids get, Make your social media private its a simple solution I see no reason why you need to have your business out their anyway.

These "kids" will be young "men" at the age of 18, a few months away.

They want to be pro football players, not scholars. So, with that said, they ought to get mentally prepared from fan(atics) that will use social media to **** with them.

I am not a proponent of it, nor am I against it, pretty indifferent about it to be honest.
