I know tracys gonna shut down rashad and ladarius will do the same to benjamin shaw and Crawford is a draw. If armbruster or rodgers can guard oleary its a stop the run situation. I feel like we can do that jameis is gonna have to throw on the money because chick and McCord along wit other blitzes are gonna make it **** on the protections.

That was rough read to bro but...

Excited to see us line up against them as we will be the best D they've played all season (unless your hyped on that Clemson D)

I expect famous **** to leave the clouds and come to reality but we still don't shut him down completely

That's the problem he's been doing this all year, and btw while I am not doubting them, I wouldn't be too sure that Greene and Benjamin will be on "lockdown" they're better than any receivers we've seen this year not counting Ebron, with that said I want to see aggressive man coverage, soft zone is all but a death sentence against this team

Yea but if were basing this on what they do against sorry defense then ok. But I honestly don't see their wideouts as threats we have recruited the perfect athletes to match their group with cover 2 and a mixture of blitzes With our zone. Im more worried about McDermott on the oline than anything going against jernigan. I mean since high school Tracey locked up rashard he's the most dangerous of the bunch. Also lets not forget the breakout game gunter had last year on benjamin he wanted to fight him if I remember correctly. We shut them down last year they didn't do **** until rodgers went ***** mode on the hit on benjamin which turned the game around for them in the 4th.

I think our DBs can cover their WRs up to a certain point.

The problem will arise when Winston isn't getting pressured and he has time to scan the field for a receiver to break open. Especially if FSU decides to pass on 1st and 2nd down when we're still in our base D with Chick and Green on the field.

Your definitely right but I honestly see al and jethro having these boys fired up our dline really played well for 3 quarters last year.
I'd like to see chick move inside with McCord on the same side I know wishful thinking with porter and the de from Wisconsin on the other end.

we are going to need safeties over top all game and your lying to your self if you think Crawford on shaw is a draw.

Maybe I'm to hyped about how he played campenaro yesterday but hes manned up on some good slots so far I just don't see him being out atheleted.

Too be fair Gunter did not have a break out game on Benjamin... He made a few plays but he was tripping over himself much of the game and benefitted from some favorable offensive penalties... I clearly saw the guy trip over himself in the open field and they called an offensive penalty against the wideout for FSU... That being said, you're a bit more optimistic than I am... We are giving up over 400 yards a game in conference play... We havent faced any wideouts on the caliber of FSU but some how UNC and Wake had their way with us... Before Ty Hill or wahtever the other wideout for wake name is was hurt, he constantly beat our secondary... Campanaro had his way as well... Our secondary is pretty slow and with the exception of Howard we're quite inconsistent... UNC and Wake mostly passed the ball and we struggled...

There is nothing to suggest those matchups are draws or in our favor (especially Crawford/Shaw). Howard has been playing great but even he'll have his hands full with Greene, that guy is a great player.

There will be safeties over the top helping all game, don't know how much help an injured Bush and Highsmith will be though. Jenkins also needs to step up, guy takes a lot of bad angles and is frequently out of position.

They are going to put up points. We won't shut them down. We have to hope we can score too and get some stops.

I expect our defense to bend, snap, crackle and pop against their offense.

It won't be because their WRs are that much better than our DBs; it'll be because D'ohno is stubborn as **** and will have our base defense in against their spread formations and we'll generate zero pass rush.

Most of the other receiver from wakes quick hitters and crafty scheming. Albeit catches came after the catch by missed takles and ankle bitters and north Carolina other then ebrons one big play no 1 else really took off I mean gunter had a blunder but he played well other then that play and we know th3s the truth.

It doesn't matter if we can cover them or not, they'll commit offensive PI all night long. It'll be up to the ACC refs to call it. Remember last year? They called like 3 on them.

True maybe its me but I think we've made a lot of strides by no means are we the best defense in the country but I havent seen anyone score over a legit 23 points on us with all the turnovers we've had on offense.

I remember last year. We were tight with FSU in that game and then our youth showed.
Duke had turf toe, Morris could barely walk.
This is going to be a tight game.

I hope Perryman welcomes O'leary like he did last year.
Pretty much knocked him out of the game.

We have to play well and hit them with murder in our hearts.

I think this game comes down to a last second field goal, and that's where I'm worried, as Goudis scares me.
Goudis is no Carlos Huerta. More like a traditional FSU kicker.
I'd feel safer with our cyborg punter drop kicking.

No chance

We are about to see how good Tracy really is against Greene. These are the games that you measure your skills by. Goes for everyone

Weird, if I didn't know any better, I would think this was a Florida State forum based off of how you are all ripping into our defensive backs. You all underestimate the power of experience in UNC and Wake's offensive leaders. Not saying they are as good as FSU's, but they are for sure better than what you guys chalk them up be. Also, you have to take into account this a rivalry game, and Miami's boys will go into this game with a chip on their shoulder because it seems like even their own fans don't believe they can rise to the occasion. The players for both of these teams have grown up playing with and against each other. If there is any team in the NCAA outside of Alabama that has a good chance to beat Florida State, it's Miami. These guys know each others strengths and weakness' like the back of their hands. Also, keep in mind MIAMI HAS JAMES COLEY WHO KNOWS EXACTLY HOW JIMBO OPERATES. And you guys are foolish if you don't think Coach D will be picking Coley's brain on this.
