Teddy is a beneficiary of making excellent decisions throughout the last 5 years of his life, unfortunately in the NFL where u end up is not ur decision, his success will hinge on who drafts him; IMO he cannot carry a franchise. Some may say he carried Louisville, but I disagree, he went to the perfect place, weak schedule, and only had to shine couple of times vs real comp 3-4 times in his college career

Because after he decommitted from Miami when Shannon got fired, it was stated that Bridgewater said on a message board that he wanted to play for a black coach. That justified him spurring the A. Golden hire and C. Strong commitment. No direct quote in an article has been attributed to this (someone please correct / neg if wrong). It appeared on a message board and took off on a life of its own.

Doesn't it always start on a message board? The truth is, Teddy was gone even before Shannon was fired mainly because of the way our fanbase treated Jacory. That was an actual quote from his mother.

Yep, that I remember. She was quoted in the paper mentioning the fanbase. Fans didn't want him because they figured he was going to struggle like Jacory was struggling in his Soph and JR seasons.

So...when Stephen kills his Pro Day, will that raise his stock; despite his film??? And does this mean that scouts will trash TB's film, and only go by his Pro Day. Is TB's performance an equalizer, in comparison to our Stephen Morris in shorts???

Kid was better than stephen morris as a freshman in high school...saw them throw together at a camp.
Actually think our fan base screwed the pooch on that one..an continue to have envy for the kid...even after he just killed college football..including rawdogging our own defense in his last game.
So.... Teddy didn't come to Miami because of the way our fans treated Japicky Harris on message boards? It had nothing to do with wanting to play for a black HC? I think it had to do with both but okay.
It's funny because the mopes will point out how Teddy didn't come here because of a message board but then bash this staff on the message boards and claim it has no effect on landing studs like Valentine? You can't make up how ******* dumb some of these mopes are...

Man, you're a fool... I never quoted that... I like Scott Convington more than Teddy... Mainly, because he was the first qb I witnessed throwing passes at the U when I was 8... However, don't play the race card with me... Haha posters like you were spewing hateful and racist slurs about the kid and now you look like idiots... The killing of Jacory was part of the reason he didnt come here...he decommitted before randy was gone...so that kills the black coach made up crap...i mean it probably was a plus in Louisville's cap because he had a relationship with Hurtt and Strong before...for the most part he was headed to Lsu until they jumped on that bum Mettenberger's meat...
It wasnt just message boards..Jacory was being killed locally..and he was a mentor to TB at the time...the kid made the right decision imo going to Louisville...and is about to be the first qb taken.
