Nah, I was just bored. Remembered how glorious 2001 was and did a little searching. I can't imagine that being good in one sport hurts the others, but I doubt it's helps that much either. At least the staff can take recruits to basketball games after football season's over.

Once UM starts winning watch out. **** our class at this moment is top 15 and better then any of Golden's final classes. There is little difference between a class ranked 5th and 25th . There are usually 1-3 insane classes like what Bama does every year and then there are about 20 that are all great and we will have one of those this year. Richt will have one of those insane classes in the next 3 years I would bet though. But all Richt needs to do his keep the growing momentum he has with this class and finish strong which I suspect he will. So SO many of our freshmen this season are total studs and that will the case next season as well but to a stronger degree.

Tell me something... what makes this real right now? Because a couple of his recruits decommitted in the middle of the season? What makes this fact? Lastly it's obvious as can be **** near no one was recruited in they days. Recruiting is all about relationships & building up trust & a report with the community,with kids & they families. Good kids are recruited now from middle school & up. From freshman or sophomore year till it's time to go. Yall wanna see the proof this staff playing chess while yall play go fish. Just watch all the youth league football teams & camps richt is interacting with on a regular. Laugh if you choose but he's recruiting when he does that. On paper, it's a Golden class as of right now. And Shannon and Golden landed monsters in their first full seasons.

Maybe in a few years it looks good on the field, but Rick has a solid, unspectacular class right now. Couple stars in the making but a lot of questions. But if anyone can turn that around late, it's him.

If recruiting is all about relationships then how'd we close with so many of Folden's recruits after he got fired, and how'd we not get a bunch of the dudes Rick and Brown were recruiting to UGA in 2016?

Why can't Rum get any Heritage kids if it's all about relationships? Who had a closer relationship to all those dudes than their own HC?
