OT: Mark Whipple to Nebraska

Three things at play here I bet:

1) $$$ and Whipple is in his mid 60s and I bet they guaranteed 2 years of the deal.

2) Narduzzi is a prick and slimy and Whipple doesn't want to be his fall guy when their offense regresses next year sans Pickett

3) Frost is seemingly an affable guy and he's desperate and HE'S the fallguy if **** doesn't work. If it DOES then Whipple get a lot of the credit and semi-hero status in a place where all they have is that team.
yeah -- no real downside other than having to live in Nebraska for a year or 2...

They'll have to find a portal QB. Frost is clueless. Gonna be hilarious to watch them next season. I live in Omaha.
Same. I loved every game that they lost by a possession. Made them feel they were going to win and then just lost and crushed them lol

BTW, were you at the Miami/fsu game at the bar on 30th this year?

I was supposed to attend but wasn't feeling the greatest. Trav is a good dude!

Why yall down on the hire. Pickett imo is gonna be a bum in the NFL, average at best. I didn't see special. Whipple offense made him look good.

Lol, yeah that was a while ago. Their offense this year seemed about 40/60 old nebraska to modern football.
Martinez stunk. I would be conservative with him as well as an OC. the flip side, this isn't Frost's 1st year so he didn't have to play that piece of luggage but he did. Just like Manny would have played King all year even though TVD is far and beyond the QB King is.

The water definitely doesn't smell like corn. Where the **** were you visiting?

If you live there you probably don't notice it, but it definitely smells like corn. But to answer your question, we slept over in a little town in Mizzou called Peculiar. It also smelled like corn in Fargo, ND, where we were dropping our kid off in College. It's not a bad smell though, acutally makes the water taste better.

I am in Omaha, so kinda a bigger city. That may be different, or like you said im conditioned to it lol

I know Sioux City smells horrible and I would never drink the water there.
