OT - Early Games Thread

5 just isn’t it. This offense won’t reach its potential with him at qb
He threw for almost 4 hundo though. If your offense puts up 38 you should win IMO. I think it’s too early to tell because they’re playing poorly on defense

Well, it’s not like WF isn’t the defending Atlantic champion who didn’t avg. 41 ppg last yr (4th in the nation) lol
*in my opinion* Their schedule was TRASH. NCST was a good win and the other 2 good teams Clemson & Pitt, they lost with 27 and 21 points scored respectfully.

Dropping 70 on Army doesn't exactly prove much to me

Him being a five star shows how flawed the system can be , especially with qb’s

Agree...I think if you look the part and have a really strong arm that's all it takes to get the stars....how accurately and touch don't seem to matter as much for the rankings.

Let CiS tell it you need a 2 deep full of high 4 and 5* WRs to be competitive

You should have seen the UCF WR's over the last 6 years or so. I don't even know what their HS ratings were, but they flat produced and made catches vs anyone. ****, Gabe Davis (Buffalo Bills) is probably the best WR any of the FL schools have produced in recent years.

Gabe Davis (Bills), Trequan SMith (Saints), Breshard Perriman (Ravens), Brandon Marshall, Latavius Murray (RB) Jacob Harris (Rams) etc and a bunch of dudes who killed it in college but perhaps weren't NFL material. Style of play matters, and development matters
