So averaging about 225 yards per game with 7tds and 3 int over 6 games is not average? Then we have different definitions of average!
not trying to argue with u about this but TUA right now is an average NFL QB! Hopefully he can improve and develop and become a top tier QB worthy of that #1 pick,
 
Thought the first half struggles with Tua were a bit of rust. Really, this game shouldn't have been that close - even looking at the stat sheet. The first int was bad. There was also a missed TD where he under threw the receiver badly.

The fact that the Fins were 10 point favs against anybody is a miracle. Too bad Flores can't get them to play in September.

The Dolphins did the same thing back in 01 when they drafted a small Nickel back named Jamal Fletcher out of Wisconsin in the 1st round instead of drafting a guy named Drew Brees. The irony of that draft pick was the Phins QB at the time was Jay Fielder and he was coming off a 14 TD and 14 INT season. Everyone knew the Phins needed a QB and Drew Brees fell in their lap and they blew it. Our CB's at the time were Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain and they pretty freaking solid and one of the strengths of the defense and they drafted a Nickel back instead of Brees. The last thing that team needed was a 5'10 Nickel back!

They also passed on Reggie Wayne the same year...passed on Russell Wilson in 12', Wilson was waaaaaaaay better than Tannehill...and they passed on Lamar Jackson in 18'.

Flores has a har don for Myles Gaskin cause he works hard.

Duke is a better rb than any one in there right now as a pure runner. For example...Myles Gaskin today cause of his poor skill fell short of afirst down marker atleast 3 times i counted. Just couldnt get it done

Our coach was Wannstache. His philosophy was defense first and he thought he could win with a game manager.

Let's not forget the Phins passed on Drew Brees again in 06 when they signed Dante Culpepper instead of Drew. Brees was in Miami ready to sign a contract when those tricky Dolphins announced they decided to sign Dante instead. Only problem was that Miami didn't realize Culpepper wasn't worth a dam when he wasn't throwing the ball to a guy named Randy Moss.

Yeah, I remember having this discussion before, but I don't think Brees would've had the same career under Saban that He had with Payton...Saban was all about running the ball & playing defense.
 
A lot of y’all are forgetting dolphins have the worst O-line in the league by far 🤣. Nothing is Tuas fault. If he didn’t get hurt dolphins are probably 8-6 or 9-5 right now. Raiders, Jags and falcons games were 3, 3, and 2 point losses.
