We are down by a field goal and that difference is because of the moronic decision to attempt a 54 yard field goal

Even NFL coaches with NFL kickers will typically not ask them to kick 54 yard FGs. It's not a good gamble early on because of the lost field position. I don't understand that decision by Richt. Go for it if you want, but don't attempt a FG.
