Still a bad throw from Rosier though

No it wasn’t! Cager got pulled back.

Oh yes it was. Throw that up high to the back of the endzone and the 6' 5" Cager makes that catch instead of the 5'11" DB. You can't throw late over the middle and low. That'll get picked every time

Yeah probably would have been picked either way. Cager got pulled back and it was still behind him

I mean it’s just such blatant cheating. No accountability either....ever!
Would never be tolerated at any “blue blood” program. But then again they would never have to deal with it in the first place.

Stop it. Awful throw.

You honestly don't understand how passes work, do you? And from Texas. Shameful

Exactly. They don’t understand if I’m pulling ur jersey, I’m slowing ur momentum and it now gives me, as a DB, an advantage for inside leverage. The throw was late, but by the DB yanking Cager back, he now had the advantage.

Cager got baited he slow and the DB baited him

Nah - Rosier needed to throw that out further in front of Cager. Cager had to slow down b/c the ball would have ended up behind him. That let the DB catch up.

I don't think he could have thrown it further in front of Cager b/c there was a safety over there....unless he lofted it over him with touch. He needed to throw it in that window, just earlier so Cager could run to it. The ball was late.

fkn love that avy.. never seen it before is it new?

You gotta be blind. No hold and thats a TD. Announcers are full of **** they dont know what they're talking about

I disagree - it was a penalty and should have been called, but Cager had to slow down b/c Rosier didn't lead him properly which is what allowed the DB catch up. Now if Rosier had thrown it wear he should have, then Cager would not have been able to get there due to the hold.

It wouldn't have been picked if Rosier threw it high and to the back of the endzone. What's so complicated about that?

nah its the laws of gravity.....he got pulled and it slowed him and catapulted the db enough to recovery and cutt the route.

If Cager hadn't gotten held back, he would have been even further in front of the ball...the ball was behind him and late.
Yeah, I'm not sure why people aren't seeing this logically based on where the ball actually went.
