THIS ISH WILL BE LEGAL IN NOVEMBER. ...COLLEGE FOOTBALL NEEDS TO ADAPT AND QUIT RUINING YOUNG MEN'S LIVES OVER SOME BS WHILE THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES ARE JUSTIFIED AND CONTINUE TO BREAK RECORD PROFITS

Awful post. The point it that it is illegal now, this dumbass needs to be smarter than this. He is throwing away a chance of a lifetime.

He's young. Who didn't smoke pot in their early 20s.

Plenty of people. Don't act like everyone is irresponsible just because they are young. That is load of crap. Some of us were killing people before our 20's and still didn't blow weed. Some people follow rules regardless; some people only think of themselves. Age doesn't actually change that. This punk could have been QB at THE friggin U! People counted on him and he chumped out again and again. Done with the punk.

Those of you saying (or thinking) the "it should/will be legal" or "he's just young" crap are missing the point.

You have a serious shot to be the starting quarterback at the University of freaking Miami...big-time college football (not to mention, where your NFL brother also played). Don't. Break. The. Rules.

I don't care if the rules say you can't eat pizza, then DON'T ******* EAT PIZZA. Period.

Even if weed was legal - an employer has the right to remove employees who smoke it.

Olsen done ****ed up.

104 kids on team ONE FAILED TEST?

Usually the week before the first game you'll get wind of suspensions. They won't disclose why, but from what I recall, those failed test suspensions usually get public the week of the first game.

Been saying it for awhile, Olsen to Rutgers. Needs to be close to his dad. Never sold on him.

Heaps will start if the staff isn't comfortable with Ryan's health, otherwise Ryan will take his position on first team where he belongs with Heaps as an insurance policy if Ryan can't deliver.

Well, if Olsen is Fortay, does that make Kaaya, Torretta?

Just cause it might become legal doesn't mean the NCAA will say it's ok to do...

My employers have already said if it becomes legal it's still not going to be allowed at our place of work if we get randomly drug tested were done...

Thanks for the post. Employers don't want to hire people who do weed. Employers don't want to hire people who have DUIs. All of you morons who say it's about to be legal need to realize the employers don't want people they hire smoking weed. In my line of work if you smoke weed and get caught....you've basically lost everything.

100%. Im as big a marijuana supporter as you'll find but this is spot on. There are alot of chances i pass up because of marijuana and my feelings about it but if i was given the chance to play football at any level beyond high school i would quit smoking without even thinking about it, let alone playing at Miami.

That being said lets not forget the hypocrisy here. If you swapped the weed with alcohol we wouldnt being talking about a 1 game suspension and nobody would be saying hes immature and all that jazz. He would be having the "college experience." Would you rather your players going out and getting drunk or staying in and smoking a few bowls?

Olsen was a Fisch recruit, correct? And Kaaya, is obviously a Coley guy. Obviously Olsen isn't officially gone (unless he wants to be) but you have to be liking Kaaya's future right about now.
