Olsen suspended for failed drug test SMH

Golden is just hedging here. He did this so he doesn't have to make a difficult decision, but if Heaps struggles he can plug Olsen right in and claim it was his plan all along. Pathetic.

No. Olsen doesn't have his head on straight. Blame lies squarely on him.

This is not no set up by Al. Olsen been given many chances. Fact he's getting only a suspension. That's a big shock at this point. Hope he really matures cause I had a lot of high hopes for the kid especially being Greg's little bro and a cane legacy.

But..but ...but he's just having fun and being a freshman! He's an entitled idiot. *** him.

Not so sure his transfer options are all that great at this point. Only tape on him is that abysmal showing in the spring game. Other than that, you have his dust up with the law in New Jersey and apparently a few failed drug tests and an inability to work hard and be a good teammate.

Sounds like a real gem that other good programs would trip over themselves to acquire.

He would land somewhere, because some coach out there has a ego. That will make him feel he can change this talented troubled young man around.

Of course he would land somewhere. Just not anywhere good. No top programs are searching for a QB who hasn't developed, has bad work habits, coaches don't trust anything about him, and apparently has a drug problem to boot.

THIS ISH WILL BE LEGAL IN NOVEMBER. ...COLLEGE FOOTBALL NEEDS TO ADAPT AND QUIT RUINING YOUNG MEN'S LIVES OVER SOME BS WHILE THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES ARE JUSTIFIED AND CONTINUE TO BREAK RECORD PROFITS

Makes a big difference if this is a 2nd incident or a continuation of the punishment from the first.

SMH, several posters have already blamed this on Golden, waiting on someone to blame DS or D'onofrio. Better yet, on Adam Kuperstein, since he first broke the story.

Done with this kid. QB needs to lead. Guess we go with Heaps and hope Williams get better so we have options. BUT if they pull a Morris on us a crap out, then put Kaaya in there and give kid a shot. He is gone in three anyway unless he sucks, so it he spends time getting real game experience, what is the harm. This offense is loaded. We just need a decent QB with good brain who can place ball without panic. Coley and PD are threats even if I am throwing the ball. Duke is Duke. Those three mean plenty of other very explosive players will be running around with little attention. I don't care who is QB, but I do not want to sit there watching the same one stink all game every game! If we have another QB, put his rear out their and let's see.

that 2013 class is very close it seems but i have never seen them being lead by Olsen.. always, stan, coley, gus, grace, carter, burns, corn ect. leading in work outs, putting in extra time (according to golden)

that for me showed that we wouldnt be taking home a title under his reign, so hopefully he gets his **** together and he can provide depth but I hope we never have to rely on him for an entire season.
