He’s probably comfortable there coming from Texas but he turned down more money to go to a place with a ****** OL and nothing special at WR whereas we just had the top offense in college football. Weird stuff man.

Oklahoma recruited the **** out of his family for the past 6 months. And he had no other advisors besides his family.

He made a people-pleasing decision to make his family and his ex-coaches happy. And he left TWO different NIL offers on the table that exceeded the Oklahoma offer by at least $1M per year.

So, yeah. I guess he is banking on being drafted by the Cowboys so he can stay (geographically) close to his family and his ex-coaches.
