Yeah last year that happened with Jaden Davis regularly getting picked on. People started believing that Porter, who is a solid player, was better than he was. Same with Damari, he struggled last year but still look competent compared to Davis.
He without a doubt appears to be a diamond in the rough. Just trying to temper expectations and let the kid develop. They arent challenging him, so we dont know just how good he is. Maybe its because he is just that good, and they are scared to test him, maybe.

Just saw Mack day after Vtech game, he looks like a Porter replacement in person. I know he was trending up in the Spring, think his Mom said it was a hammy.
