This will be an interesting eval to monitor for Addae, Mario and Highsmith. Frederique has the length and movement, and we've seen some local WR converts pop in college (Xavier Rhodes, Stanley Jean Baptiste). Will he develop the physicality and confidence to excel? We need to develop some true corners, so there is a lot riding on this one.

I know @Coach Macho has been a fan for a while.

I mean he's played a ton of DB…both at Deerfield and STA as well. So it's not really a "convert" is it?

I like this kid…Long and twitchy, pause.

We asked him to flip from WVU to us. He was most likely never even considered a drop candidate due to this so all you can do is wish the kid develops and support

We know Mirabel can develop OL talent. We have seen the proof. We know Jason Taylor can develop DL talent. Got proof. This is one of those pickups that can give Addae major credibility in the development dept if he can develop this kid into a solid starter. He has some tools to work with.

A lot of positives on those highlights. Playing both sides of the ball and taking kicks at STA is no joke. Plus he's glue on his receivers when playing press corner. But agree you would expect more explosive plays on a highlight reel, and his tackling needs a lot of work. Definitely not starting early.

You kind of got to take some guys like this. Some pan out, some don't (we've been on the receiving end of this of these type of two-way guys over the years), but you don't want the pan outs to pan out elsewhere. Easy attrition if it doesn't work out, IMO, because you just recruit another lotto ticket like this the next year. We've shuffled through guys like this to varying degrees every year. Inoffensive take at worst that gets easily processed and it'll be like you never knew he was here, but the upside is real real nice with this one. You just have to trust your eyes and hope things break right with a few of them over the years and that makes you a good coach and evaluator.

Mike Jackson a few years ago did pretty well here and made the NFL roster. Took some time to develop. I see this kid as a low risk-high reward. And if you see some promise then he would be easier to keep on team for depth purposes due to loyalty from the program on him. That has to be thought about in the age of the portal. I believe you still have to get some players who love the program and not just the best deals. Not many lmao just enough to have good culture

Man, I thought he would’ve developed more as an athlete and seen more explosive plays on his Senior tape.

This is very concerning to me.

Then again, I don’t get paid to fill out this roster.
He was more explosive at his old HS but STA had him playing discipline team ball like most private schools Columbus, STA, A. Heritage...do. As a Jr he was man'd up as a Sr a lot of zone. Which he looks good in zone and a clean tackler. Wr/KR so has ball skills. Solid not great corner but it's not the Ints you get sometimes it's the TDs you don't give up. Remember the Louisville game

He's pretty much where I thought he would be. This is exactly the type of kid who has gone elsewhere in the past and developed into a very good player but nothing is certain. I like his tools. He has good length, he's twitchy with good speed and very physical. He's a kid you can certainly work with and develop. He could be a very versatile depth piece with any more being gravy.
