Just thinking about it, if there are 15 portal guys out, that means we can replace them with 15 portal guys in. That would mean only 5 other OVs would be allowed this year? Doesn't make sense to me unless a bunch of the remaining visits will be UOVs "paid for" by the player.

Not true. We can take as many as we want this year as long as total number is 85 and under

WE have absolutely no idea of how active Mario and the staff is in the portal. Everything is 100% being done on the QT. They aren't advertising who they are targeting and contacting. ESD is less than 2 weeks away and you know they are going full bore on solidifying the early signing 2023 class as well as working on key portal candidates. Hope we see some news soon. But we DO know that Mario hired a very experienced portal analyst ... guy who was with Mich. State when they added 22 portal players and re-made basically their entire starting roster, and we have Alonzo working with them. The portal is open for 45 days and ESD has less than 2 weeks.

Gabby said heading into this weekend we had 21 to play with. So Francisco, CJJ, and Cohen would take it down to 18.

That's my understanding.
