**Official Summary of Allegations Thread**

I think Miami should publish ALL the allegations and put a percentage next to each one how reliable they are like pete did with recruiting

towards the end it should add the total dollar value Shapiro gave to Miami players.

at the very end Miami should put how much it cost the NCAA to get these allegations. and then do a full report how much this cost the taxpayers (since NCAA is a non profit), and how much it cost each school.

The worst part of these allegations so far is coaches no longer at Miami misleading or lying to the NCAA.

Where's the LOIC on Miami come from?

First off its just the investigative arm that is handing in their opinion on "LOIC". These are the same people who claimed that if Miami players didnt talk that they would assume guilt. Guess they werent bluffing. I think ultimately the LOIC comes from the fact that while the transgressions that are being reported in the NOA arent much, they involve alot of the staffs in multiple sports. That constitutes a LOIC. I would agree. I dont think it ultimately comes to much in the form of additional sanctions though.

Pretty funny they mention the Mcgahee suite when Julio Jones got a free suit for every single game while at Alabama and everyone knew it...yet NCAA does nothing.

Remember, if Shapiro said it twice it was fact.

"Shapiro also bought a suit for former Miami star running back Willis McGahee to wear to the Heisman Trophy ceremony in 2002." That was refuted by the owner of the shop

Watch, the NCAA will try to establish the lion's share of the allegations based solely on Little Nevin's word backed up by a receipt. They will consider an allegation of purchasing something for a student athlete sufficiently corroborated with a receipt showing the purchase of that something -- nothing more (except maybe the word of street *****). Of course, we all know a receipt evidences the purchase of an item, but certainly not for whom the item was purchased. It's going to be pathetic.

Updated with Clint Hurtt's NOA info

Lmaoo if that is all they have on the bagman, good lord

Preach on. Plus, the details tell more and more about the kind of person Shapiro is/was. Heck, if he wanted to help land recruits, he could do it from a distance a la the SEC. How in the world do recruits even know that Shapiro paid for meals???? Dude wanted his name out there and was no more than a groupie fan throwing stolen money around..

WOW.

This thing gets better and better in it's weak saucedness.

Hilarity ensues.

Regardless of what happens, the NCAA really didn't have jack.

The statute of limitations on infractions without a LOIC is 4 years. The lionshare of this (suit, washer dryer) is outside the SoL. So far, there doesn't seem to be enough evidence for LOIC (couple thousand dollars worth of violations) but without a LOIC, they have even less

Updated with new info from today's AP report on the cost of these allegations. The things that struck me:
1) Each person involved received under $700 total....compare that to the amount Yahoo! claimed
2) Most of the players have been gone from UM for years.
3) LOIC is going to be based on QUANTITY of infractions and not the quality. If it's not then I still don't understand the charge.

NCAA is just freaking desperate cuz of bad PR against them.
