So just to get this straight, we are getting lack of institutional control WITHOUT the following:
1) $10,000 payment for Jones
2) Frank Haith 10.1
3) Pennunzio and Stoutland receiving NOA

They have nothing and are just trying to cover themselves.

It is hysterical/disturbing to me that so far in this case and in others (Ohio State, Bruce Pearl), it appears that the biggest thing people did wrong is not actually the thing they did wrong (provide impermissible benefits), but that they mislead the NCAA. I understand the value of being truthful and forthcoming, but at some point (reached long ago) it just becomes absurd.

All of the punishments stem from violation of NCAA investigative procedure rules rather the actual rules aimed at keeping things fair.
 
Lulz there has to be more cause if there isnt the ncaa done ****ed up. And by more I mean some 100k type ****. Dont give me this bought a washer and dryer. For LOIC they better have hocutt sucking shapiros **** in the press box.

I willing to bet Hurtt's & Aubrey's NOA is where all the juicy allegations are. If not, WTF is the NCAA doing?
 
Guessing: They are trying to cover up and show cause for their travesty of an investigation.


They know that 'LOIC' will make a splash in the media and try and deflect a little of the heat they have been getting, but, in a couple months when it gets to the actual sentencing portion, we'll get a slap on the wrist on top of what we've already self-imposed. Meanwhile Shalala will do her part by showing she wields a big stick. It's all posturing at this point, including the "LOIC" was the NCAA doing their part. What actually matters in the contents of the NOA, which apparently are skimpy, and what is there is sketchy as far as how they corroborated it.

Bottom line: Haith did not get the dreaded 10.1 Only one allegation and it was an 11.1.2.1 (failure to monitor)
 
So far this seriously looks like child's play. I'm only listing out things that are leaked out, but honestly there better be some SERIOUS **** in Haith, Hill or Miami's NOA or wtf is the point of the Lack of Institutional Control charge? I understand saving face and blah blah blah but this is NOTHING compared to what they made it out to be
