D played fast and hard and, generally, guys were all over the place, right where they needed to be. Howard, Burns, Carter, Crawford, Denzel, Grace. Let's hope that's because our D is maturing and it's all clicking and guys aren't thinking so much; not because our O is suspect.
Our running game was very, very reassuring. It looked like our DL was putting in some good work, but Tuck and Gus barreled over and through quite impressively. That's nice to hear. We got some much needed thunder ready, it looks like.
Malcolm Lewis looks like a stud again. He was Olsen's favorite target all night. Olsen was erratic. He certainly had some nice throws; most to Malcolm, some to Walford. But he also took too long to find his receiver, overthrew some, was high a lot (his biggest problem), and then underthrew that interception intended for Coley to Howard.
To summarize: It's the Spring Game. Defense usually has the upper hand. And a lot of it feels and looks like a **** show.
BUT HOW ABOUT THOSE AWESOME UNIFORMS????????
