That’s the concern. Not winning the ACC sucks. But does this mentally scar them the rest of the way? This is a tough one. We missed Pack.

You would think, these guys being athletes their entire lives, that they would know you always have a second half to play. But nope, we decided to hoist the ACC trophy up in the locker room at halftime I guess
 
The only thing I have to see that wouldn’t be altered to incoherence by the profanity filters: You could really see where Pack fills in the scoring during Wong’s and how he was pressing to fill them

As I said earlier, this is what happens when you try to toy with your opponent. We stopped playing smart basketball in the second half, and it cost us. This is our worst loss of the season, and will definitely hurt our seeding. Can’t have mental lapses like this and expect to go far in the tourney.

There’s no adjustment to “Stay in front of your man” That’s effort and hustle.

The fact that we have idiots on this board screaming about L being soft is further proof that we have by far the least knowledgeable fans in sports.
 
On a more positive note we’ve been on fire with Pack playing which i believe is the soul of the offense. Not gonna justify this horrible loss but let’s see what this team does come ACC tourney with everyone playing.

Absolutely pathetic 2nd half performance. Only redeeming factor is that Pack was out.

This absolutely will cost us in the seeding. Horrendous Quad 4 loss. If we win out and win the ACC tourney, the best we can probably hope for at this point is a 4 seed. Whereas before this game, the lowest we could expect is a 5 seed, now our floor is probably a 6 seed.

Silver lining… I wanted this team to feel what losing feels like before march. We peaked too early… just was hoping it wasn’t against the noles

Some posters are boneheads. We just blew a 25-blow lead in the second half against a team that lost its last road game by 40 points. They had lost 4 in a row and 7 of the last 8. We had the #1 ACC tournament seed on the line and entered the game as a projected 4th seed. We have no clue how this is going to affect us moving forward as a team. Losses like these historically are not easy to recover.
