The entire starting offensive line, including Pro Bowl left tackle Jake Long, was feasted on by the first and second team defense during the final 11-on-11 period of practice. Long was so bothered by the sack he gave up to Olivier Vernon he tried to fight the rookie on the very next play.
Another fight between them? Lol

If those two just can't get along you can trade Long to the Bears.

**** no ..Long's a beast.....

If Vernon is doing him in..i'm expecting at least 7-10 sacks from him this yr..he'll see a lot of one on one blocks with Wake on the other side..and he is already worked his way up to the 3rd defensive end apparently.

Digging a little more I read they get along well(respect)... the first fight was more serious but they shake hand and it´s all good. Good for Vernon to face this beast every day at practice and still win some battles. He will feel the difference in games against less talented T´s.

I guess the people mocked coach Golden for to say Dolphins got 3 1st round picks this year will have a surprise.

Nice job with the updates guys. Hey can you include the pro teams for your guys Staybon? Not sure where JoJo and LaRon Byrd are at. Thanks.
JoJo = Giants
Byrd = Cardinals

Thanks for that Brazil. my bad Port. I'll include that next time I post more info.

Its all good bro, thx for the info regardless. I am ashamed that I didn't know JoJo was on my Giants. Back there battling with Kenny Phillips, Antrelle Rolle, and Bruce Johnson. Nice, hopefully he makes at least the practice squad.

Its going to be another draft class with 'Canes that are better pros than collegiate players...super.

Hall of Fame game will have LaRon Byrd and an injured Javarris James (yeah i know no one is surprised he's injured). Of course Calais is still with them with that monster deal.

New Orleans Saints - all Jimmy.

--Cleveland Browns...The perception of wide receiver Travis Benjamin is changing. During minicamps, the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Benjamin was relegated to deep downfield routes on the outside. Now, he's going over the middle. During a red-zone drill, he fought off a defender to grab McCoy's touchdown pass. "I anticipated with his natural size that he might get banged around and be less efficient, but he has done a great job," Shurmur said. "I think he handles the traffic pretty well.”

Benji will go up and get the ball. He'll just get split in two if he gets rocked by an NFL LB.

If DVD turns into a legit starting corner in the NFL there's some kind of []_[] magic going on in the NFL. He didn't show anywhere near that kind of ability or potential in college.

Are you talking about run support or cover ability?

For some reason,it still bothers me when dudes act like DVD was a scrub. The man gave up ONE **** TD his last two years of college.(Greg Little) He's not the most physical,but The man can flat out cover. You can't take that away from him.

Mostly run support, but also coverage to a lesser extent. You need a certain amount of size and physicality to cover in the NFL and DVD is/was rail-thin and very soft. He has elite straight-line speed but his hips were inconsistent at Miami. Regardless he was such a liability against the run at Miami that I never pictured him seeing the field in the NFL except for nickel/dime subpackages. He was not only skinny and soft...he also couldn't break down and wrap up. I don't see Raiders games so I don't know how he's progressing in the NFL.
