I’m not dying on any hill. I don’t expect him to start here. You’re the one expecting some stud to come galloping in at DT. There currently isn’t one in the portal.

At the end of the day, this is the truth. There just aren't a lot of athletic 6'4"+ 300+ lbs. dudes walking the Earth and playing collegiate football. This guy checks those height/weight/size boxes and can add depth to a position where we really lack depth. I think we still need to add a starter-quality DT, but it doesn't change the fact we need bodies with Miller and Jackson gone.

The way I try to think of it is this guy is taking Miller's spot, and we're still on the hunt for Jackson's replacement.

I do think we need to offer both Zykeivous Walker and Keeshawn Silver. Walker was a top 100 guy and Silver was a 5*. You want impact guys then take a talent level over some production.

Walker I want some background on. He stepped out on Auburn midway through the season if I'm not mistaken. Trainwreck season, but I just think it's one of those where the staff really needs to do its homework.
Silver is all about the medical. If he can get and stay healthy he could be nasty.
