Offensive staff with McKitty today

If you are semi-intelligent, you realize Miami is a better fit for your position than FSU. Our second TE had better numbers than their starter.

Now, if other things are involved....what can you do
If other thing$ are involved... You can match their price & up the offer.

You guys are in love with Perry, but you're crying about Jon Rick not being at a visit with 20 other coaches for a TE.

Remember last year when they were tracking the coaches' daily travels during this time after the season? Remember last year when Perry decommitted and Rick Jr spent an entire month camped out in Ocala? Of course you don't. Remember how he shortly thereafter recommitted?

If he doesn't end up here then he is getting bad advice somewhere and it's not from his dad. His dad is a big time Canes fan

what happened to Jovani Haskins? is he just not good or nobody knows yet?

I don't think we'll get McKitty.

Let's see:

Graham
Olsen
Shockey
Winslow
Walford
etc.
etc.

Now this current staff has developed Njoku into a beast. Can anyone name an FSU tight end that's ever had an ounce of success in college or the NFL?

You mean beside a Mackey award winner two years ago?

/I know walford should have won it
You can incluse oleary he is a bust in the NFL. Our guys get more catches per game then he has in his career

What part of "ounce of college success" and a national award winner is not clear to you?

I am in no way trying to debate how FSU tight ends have done in the NFL, but it is a FACT, they have had a TE achieve greater national celebration at the college level more recently than we have.

From a talent perspective, how does this guy compare to Haskins and Irvin III?
He's closer in style to Irvin, it seems. His film is really impressive in terms of athleticism and route running, but havent seen enough to say much more.

Bubba Franks getting no love....

Kevin Everett and Richard Gordon made it too.

Dedrick Epps too

Hit McKitty with Kevin Everett, Richard Gordon and Dedrick Epps, and that'll seal the deal. If that doesn't work, throw in Chase Ford.

Rick understands recruitment is mainly about the relationship you form. his son evidently did too. Key to locking up perry.

A few thoughts on the TE situation:

1. Njoku doesn't "need" the money like others do (e.g., Yearby)
2. Njoku's decision is partially tied to Kaaya (i.e., if Brad stays, Njoku is likely to stay)
3. Irvin has a long way to go
4. Herndon is significantly undervalued by fans, but not the staff

With that said, most believe Njoku will leave unless Brad stays (many believe Brad should stay).
