Offensive and Defensive Coordinators.

I'm coming around on the defense. How many great defenses are filled with Freshman & Sophomores? None. Give these kids another year of S&C, UTough and film study and they'll be unreal. I have faith, especially in the front 7.

without a doubt. while we are seeing the struggles of a defense loaded with inexperience and physical mismatches, the lessons they are learning every week is something that you simply cannot put a price on. they should be much improved next year, and as i said in another post, in two years this could be a top 10 or 15 group on defense.
 
Our best defensive players, consist of Chick, EJ, Denzel, McGee and Finnie...4 out of the 5 have been here for a year and a half. Let that sink in for a minute and then tell me how you expect us to dominate defensively?
 
^We don't need to dominate defensively, I don't think anyone would think that is a realistic expectation looking at our roster and limitations. However, we have got to be close to the worst defense in all of college football. We don't have great talent at every position on defense, but we don't need great talent to not be at the bottom of the rankings for defense. We need to play to the level of our talent - consistently.
