He's a Chris Petersen disciple from Boise St, then got hired by Sumlin at TAMU.

Cal's former CB coach got hired by the Phins to be the new DB's coach, Gerald Alexander who's another Chris Petersen guy from Boise St & was a GA at Washington with him.
 


Rocky long after stepping down as HC at San Diego St returns back to his alma mater Nex Mexico.

He played there way back in the late 60's- early 70's, got his first job in coaching there in the early 70's & was HC at New Mexico for 10 years before going to SD St.

Very good retirement move for Rocky Long, he'll coach there for a year or two then finally hang it up.

One of the bigger hires of the cycle. Solid get for Danny Gonzales.

Played & Coached for a long time at Southern Miss under Jeff Bower, coached DL at South Carolina for Spurrier, was at Ole Miss with Houston Nutt, at Midd Tenn St with Rick Stockstill, was an analyst at TAMU & coached Safeties at Va Tech in 2018.

Their CB's coach John Richardson, played & coached at North Dakota St, then was CB's coach at Wyoming for 6 years under Craig Bohl.

The DE's coach AJ Cooper also started out as a former player & the eventually coached at North Dakota St as well & then went to Wyoming for 5 years coaching DL's with Bohl.

The Safeties coach Mark Banker coached for 9 years at Oregon St with Mike Riley, then was DC for 2 years at Nebraska when Riley was there before he got replaced by Frost & was LB's coach for Rolovich at Hawaii the last two seasons.

The DT's coach Ricky Logo, Samoan from California that played at NC St, coached DL's at Troy under Larry Blakeney, coached at Vandy for 3 years with Bobby Johnson, then was at Houston with Tony Levine, then was at Colorado St with Mike Bobo for 2 years, then got hired at Hawaii by Rolovich.

Pruitt may actually figure things out in Knoxville.

I wasn’t a fan of the hire, but he seems to be moving in the right direction.
