TN went 10-2 with a roster of true nobodies. Coaching matters. If you recruit the best guys but have **** coaches all you have is 11 athletes vs a football team

If you watched UT and bama losses you would see who is the farthest away from a championship not to mention it is an much more difficult to replace talent than coaching

Lol. You must be young actually we haven't had an elite roster in 20 yrs and I agree that we have had bad coaching. The talent acquisition has been the key to national titles and super bowls. **** even Butch and Saban couldn't cut it in the nfl it's sad I have to explain this

I’ve only been a canes fan since 2010 in HS. In that sense yes I’m young, but I also saw our guys go in the first round and also play great in the league. Why are our players great in the league but bad here??

I'm not sure which players you are referring to but there were ALOT of our guys that played at an elite level but were overshadowed by a bad team as a whole. I'm sitting here watching LV and Pittsburgh and DP52 comes to mind.

If we keep the same coaching staff we are looking at 6-6 to 7-5 next year. That will be tough to build a top 5 class on.

Maybe not top 5, but top 10 is possible when we go

This idea that Miami recruited well but played bad is not true. We been average and our recruitimg has been average. We used to have players dominate the league, not just be another guy on another team. This class we brought in, multiple players are guaranteed top 2 and 3 round picks, just by their normal progression. And then 1st round picks based on performance. Saban and Kirby didnt turn Bama and UGA around by magic coaching. You cant do a job without the tools. Was Ed O some great genius coach? Jimbo?

Lots of revisionist history going on here. We do not have a bunch of guys doing "great" in the NFL.
