So do the same thing golden did? Add marginal players for the sake of numbers, get Thomas & Pouncey, then go get more studs next year

Lol we are like ay what, 65 with room to sign 27-30. We are in no position to turn our noses up at guys who have experience, have been thru a college weight room and spring, can fly and might be able to contribute

Downside is you load the roster with JAGS and have less room for better players.

We haven't missed out yet. You do know signing day isn't for another month, right? We thought we had to get a Jeudy or Smith, then Thomas comes along and lights up the best players on national TV (great to showcase, but also a headache since the bagmen might be filling up their gas tanks). Elite talent who looks like he wants to wear the U. Holmes, well, if we have an extra spot, might be worth a take since he might be able to at least help on special teams or scout team (which can't be said about OL JAGs who will never see the field). If he can run down field and make a tackle instead of having to put one of our best players like Walton on sp teams where he can get hurt, then it's worth it.
 
sometimes a kid needs a change of environment. he had a WR coach who didnt have much experience with wr's.you cant teach his speed, maybe he can be a colbert.
Any kid who didnt want to play for golden, i understand. half his players hated him

We better sign him all u need to know is that he is better then half he receivers we have on our team...
 
Do whats best for business and sign him up. We're no longer in a position to reject a kid like this who provides depth if nothing else. Unless some of u want to go back to the days of our punter playing wr.
