Nothing about Eddie?

i'd rather we just let him back on the team and feed him one lacrosse player a week to control his appetite

Agreed, if he is beating up lacrosse players then he is doing a public service. At schools with varsity programs they walk around like they own the place and constantly get in fights. Nice to know Eddie was keeping them in check.
 
Let's all lay off of Golden. I love Eddie, but Golden's hand was forced.

Supposedly Eddie challenged a coach to a fight. Tried to rush this coach and had to be restrained by teammates. I wasnt there but I trust the person who relayed the info.

So, knowing this info you cant blame Golden especially when the coach that was challanged threatened to resign if EJ was not booted.

There is knucklehead and then there is cancer. You cant have kids see this **** and expect them to be ok with being treated differently because thier not as talented.

If anything, most sensible fans are saying Golden might be giving him too much slack.

Everyone deserves a second chance, maybe even a third. EJ is way past chances, My vote is firmly is on passing on him.
 
EJ will be back on the team by summer. The Dean will talk to Golden, Golden will give the green light and we will be back in business. It will be his last chance though and I still stand by the fact that he won't get into trouble once hes back on the team.
 
Eddie is taking a positive step by asking for a meeting with a Dean to discuss possible reinstatement in school. I wish him the best of luck, not because he is a good football player but because he is a kid who has made several mistakes and is now making at least a small move in a more sensible direction.

the dean and the coach want him back. the dean will talk to PARENT of someone who got hurt by EJ.

One mistake by Manziel does not come close to the mistakes EJ has made. Has Manziel been suspended multiple times? Can't compare the two when Manziel isn't hurting his team.
 
Would like EJ back on the team, but def feel like we can also live w/out him. Depth is better at LB now, and he's missing too many practices and workouts to see significant improvement.

I CLEARLY REMEMBER SOME OF THE SAME TYPE POWDER-PUFF / DISNEY WORLD (LAND OF MAKE BELIEVE) COMMENTS MADE ABOUT KWII'S "DON'T GIVE A FU@K ATTITUDE" WHEN HE WAS OUT ROCKIN' JOCKS FOR FUN...."FANS" NEED TO GET UP OFF EJ'S BACK AND LET THE MAN MAKE A DENT WHERE HE CAN.....

THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE.....REINSTATE HIM, CAGE & FEED EM' RAW FU@KIN' MEAT 'TIL 9/7.....THEN JUST SIT BACK AND COUNT HOW MANY "PRE-SEASON HATERS" ARE PIMPIN' #44 JERSEYS AND RIDIN' HIS JOCK ALL THE WAY TO A BCS BOWL GAME THIS YEAR......

JUST LIKE KWII, HE'S GOT THE MENTALITY AND PASSION NEEDED (AND THIS DEFFENSE NEEDS) TO PLAY HIS POSITION.....LEAVE IT AT THAT.....

thanks for sharing a completely unrelated and nonanalogous situation. by all accounts, EJ has had multiple instances of not being able to control his anger, and has received 2d, 3d, etc... (e.g. game suspension last season) chances to get straight. by contrast, manziel - the f'n reigning Heisman Trophy winner - lost his temper once. so this is an entirely unhelpful example.
