Nothing about Eddie?

We don't know what he did, right? Could it strictly be academics related and he could still be in good standing with Golden and the rest of the team?

He's done multiple things. The latest however has something to do with beating up lacrosse players I believe.

Kid just needs to go, he isnt worth the trouble and while he is a good player he is severely overrated by this board. Through out the last couple of months you would think this kid was the best LB to ever set foot in Coral Gables.

lmao

You cant let the inmates run the asylum.

We did it for a decade & a half - why not?

I'm kind of glad we just have inmates IN our asylum to be honest...

We had kids with a chip on their shoulder that were focused. This kid has the talent but can't keep focused. He has been chance after chance yet all you hear is be continues to mess up. I want him stay because we do need him, but at some point the line has to be drawn.

BAD BOYZ BRING BAD INTENTIONS’....BELIEVE THAT!! :neonu: :crownpour:

I don't know. Maybe it's a double standard, maybe not. Ray Ray seemed to get his fair share of chances before finally being booted for yet another picture of him out on the town. Henderson vanished for a week. The door was left open for J Johnson to come back until he applied to another program. Cain is still on the team, Terry on the team, L Rob and his dad are still on the team. I get the sense that Golden would MUCH rather have his players work through their problems than to become society's problems.

This sh*t here.

The only way EJ comes back, is if he apologizes to the team, the coaches, and THEN go see the Dean.

He really needs a "come to Jesus" moment. And then live it.

I was really ****ed when I joined the Army, and that burn got me through Jump School and SF. I stoked that anger. I nourished it, but volunteering three times for combat, I took it out on the enemy. Works like a SOB.

'Cmon Eddie. Put in in a box, and break it out on game day.

You'll make million$.

You are right, some just never learn how to channel their anger.

Just move on from the ****ing cancer.
some players hate and can't believe how he gets all these second, third, fourth chances.
Exactly, its going start messing up the lockerroom with how Golden keeps handling this.

This kid doesn't have the right perspective off the field. I used to be a goon, so I know how it can be LOL!! Tapping into my goon frame of mind, maybe ole' Eddide didn't enroll, JUST so that he could say:

I'm not accountable to the rules of the college/team, when im not enolled...

So what i'm saying is, he might have ditched the rules, in order to go on a binge of Weed & Roids. And if that's the case, heck sign him up, right before te first game, cause I don't want him tackling Duke Johnson in practice!! LOL!!!

But in all seriousness, I think it's looking dull for EJ.

If he missed an entire semester, we have to remember what that does for his eligibility guys! Once the clock starts, it doesn't stop! Binging on weed and roids dodsn't count as a Mission.

Grover you're right, you can even add Buchanon to that list... Under Shannon, all the kids mentioned would have been done.

Golden is thinking about our Depth Chart, as well as making men, so long as there isn't a serious crime committed, or a NCAA violation, they can learn from it!

If Golden lets him back on the team then I'll support that decision.

Just had a vision of him crushing Matt Jones (Flordia's running back)

I don't get why people are chastising him and washing their hands of the situation. Who hasn't ****ed up in life more than once? I applaud Eddie (if the OP is correct) for attempting to fight his way back into school and do the right things. Nobody is pushing him, this is all his own decision. It could be easy for him to say "**** that" or give up because it's too much of a hassle to go through this process. Or he's too prideful to do it. But maybe he realized he wants a better life for himself. He's at a crossroads; he can end up in a bad place or he could end up on some NFL Pregame show discussing this exact moment at Miami when the light came on and he stood up, became a man, came back and apologized and decided to grab a hold of his life.

Has the University of Miami ever been a program to shun the angry, the reckless, or the wild? No. We harness it. We give them an outlet to focus that aggression. Miami gives them an opportunity to triumph over their background and upbringing and to become successful men. Eddie will find his way, and his attitude on the sideline will be huge this season.

we need eddie on the team for better on field production as a football team and a defense.

all the other **** can blow in the wind. if he isnt here, we have some big time guys ready to step in like Figs. If he is here, we have our 2nd best linebacker on the team by far and an all-ACC caliber type player.

If I looked up the numbers correctly EJ was 4th in nation for TFL's among freshmen linebackers among the BCS conferences with 7.5.

Jake Love (8 Kansas), Darryl Monroe (8.5 Wash St), and Denzel Nkemdiche (13 Ole Miss) finished with more.

If eddie is willing to do what it takes to be on the squad... then i don't mind AG giving him that opportunity..
