Surprised. Johnson is "in town" trying to set up a meeting with the dean to get back enrolled. It's "out of Goldens hands".

Twitter as source.

if Eddie back on the team we definitely go 14-0 next season and win the MNC if he isn't on the team we will be lucky to beat FAU

Kid needs to get his head out of his ***. He has to know how talented he is.

Eddie needs to both develop and showcase himself for a Sunday gig. I hope things work out for him.

He, and all these kids, have to remember that it is student/athlete.
With the NCAA penalties for schools that don't graduate players you can't have a guy acting like he is playing for GT, Gould's Tech.

The only way EJ comes back, is if he apologizes to the team, the coaches, and THEN go see the Dean.

He really needs a "come to Jesus" moment. And then live it.

I was really ****ed when I joined the Army, and that burn got me through Jump School and SF. I stoked that anger. I nourished it, but volunteering three times for combat, I took it out on the enemy. Works like a SOB.

'Cmon Eddie. Put in in a box, and break it out on game day.

You'll make million$.

Kid just needs to go, he isnt worth the trouble and while he is a good player he is severely overrated by this board. Through out the last couple of months you would think this kid was the best LB to ever set foot in Coral Gables.

I don't know. Maybe it's a double standard, maybe not. Ray Ray seemed to get his fair share of chances before finally being booted for yet another picture of him out on the town. Henderson vanished for a week. The door was left open for J Johnson to come back until he applied to another program. Cain is still on the team, Terry on the team, L Rob and his dad are still on the team. I get the sense that Golden would MUCH rather have his players work through their problems than to become society's problems.

We don't know what he did, right? Could it strictly be academics related and he could still be in good standing with Golden and the rest of the team?
