#Steelers LB coach Keith Butler said it will be miraculous if LB Sean Spence plays again but he's rooting for him. they will keep him on IR

When I did some reading about the type of injury he experienced in an ortho book of mine I thought as much, but everyone's different. Holding out hope. Sucks. Total shame. **** the human body sometimes.
 
Also, what a bloody ******* awful 2 month stretch for everything Miami. Brutal. Can only get better.



Edit: Re: the past two months, unrelated to Sean but gotta say it: so ******* thankful for Yearby, Coley, & Golden right now.

**** man. loved him one of my fav canes. always gave it his all no matter what. hopefully he does make a comeback. btw, i know hes not a cane but congrats to lattimore. hope he recovers and balls out (and learns from gore)

I know it gets said about every former UM player, but Spence should really consider coaching. Coach D was dealt a similar hand in the NFL.

Spence is as high as Mike James in my books, and thats pretty much as high as any other football player I know. Really feel bad for the kid, and am praying for him to get it going again.

I hope he gets to stay on IR for this year and collects that NFL salary. Then either comes back or comes to Miami as a GA and eve.ntually joins the coaching staff.
 
Awful news. Spence is one of the most underappreciated players to ever put on a UM uniform. Hoping he can play.

If everyone on the team had half the heart of Spence's they would make All-American. As it is they just went from the third team to the prep team

NFL doesn't guarantee much salary. How much do you figure he made this year?
 
****. we hear Ray coming back from tricep tear, AP doing what he did after a ACL tear, and Lattimore trying to make a return as well.

hope Spence can do the same

The NFL payout for players injured on the job is a joke. Billion dollar industry that the fat cat owners make most of the money from.
 
I hate to hear that. Spence was one of the few kids during his time here who truly put it all on the line week in and week out, wish him the best.
