Non-Canes related, but Scott Frost is invading Broward

I really don't think you guys are getting D Money's post. He's not saying we should be shaking with fear or even concerned. Just saying that Frost pulled a couple of good players from down here and he hopes Frost can turn them around. I guess you all are stuck on the word invading, idk.

It was obviously the hyperbolic "invading Broward" verbiage. Go back and look at those Pitt rosters when HB Blades was up there. Ol' Wanny had half that team comprised of kids from Broward. Nobody claimed he was "invading" anything though.

hard not to root for frost imo. It's okay to like more than one program fellas.

It's incredibly easy for me not to root for Frost or any other program. Fck em all.

Nah, dood. I saw a profile of Frost on eSECpn narrated by Tom Rinaldi and set to weepy music so he MUST be a great guy. Not to mention I had a group of salt of the Earth Nebraskans pass me in an airport once and they saw my UM hat and we shared a hearty chuckle about Osborne goin for 2. So I'm pretty much this close to getting one of those "House Divided" license plates for my Subaru station wagon that features a Canes and a Cornf*cker logo.

Dominic Watt is a top 5 wr in south florida.

Miles Jones is one of the top athletes down here this year.

Those are good gets for Frost and Nebraska to be honest. Seems like he can recruit and identify talent.

Maybe so but that’s debatable. What’s not debatable is that neither of these two players are Miami caliber I’m any way shape or form. What these two guys are is Al golden recruits that got a chance to go to Miami under his regime because his regime couldn’t land the Popes and Lingards of Florida. We still have a couple of those golden types with no business here lingering around the team and that’s a fact. Now good for these two dudes getting a chance to go to a big P5 program instead of ending up in the G5 marshals and USFs of the world but there not elite Miami caliber.

He should have stayed at UCF and found a better job. He is not going to win long term at Nebraska. ****, they can't even compete with Wisconsin.

I wrote for B/R (Miami and College Football in general, def. not a homer) and I will say one thing about Frost and Kelly.....they are amazing coaches and if they could just get into the right system (Florida speedsters), they could win multiple national championships.

To be honest, I was hoping Miami would go after Frost and/or Kelly a couple years ago. With that type of offense and the supreme Florida speed/talent------they could dominate college football.

Frost now knows what could have been and I can promise you that he made good friends in Florida and will take a lot of talent to him in Nebraska. He is a good guy and they know that he can make them winners.

I would not be surprised to see Nebraska and UCLA (With Kelly) in contention for National Championships.

Why would anyone take anything you say seriously after that introduction?

Just picked up commitments from two of the most productive playmakers in Broward, RB/WR Miles Jones and WR Dominick Watt.

If he can build up his skill positions and defensive backfield with local guys like this, it will give that program a serious boost.

Nebraska fans were always the most respectful fans to come to the OB. I hope they tear up the B1g and we're meeting in the championship like old times.

We did win 3 of our 5 against them, right.

He's gonna need to invade South Florida if he wants to run his offense at that school. I don't think he'll take any kids from us but he'll get what he needs to succeed. Even our leftovers are good enough to elevate most programs.

You would have to be an idiot or just flat out dumb committing to Nebraska..

I have a soft spot for USF because I attended that school, when a football team was only a pipe dream. But Nebraska?? F no, never.

Same here in early 80's. Intramural football was all that. My Black frat didn't have the numbers, but we always gave Pike, SAE and Muff Divers a tough time.

LOL. Nebraska is a great place for a kid who doesn't have any offers from the big-3.

It isn’t invading when you get kids none of The in state powers recruited. It’s called picking up scraps. Whether they go on to be good or bad.

Why does he need SFL kids to run his offense?

A lot of what he does is based off speed. You don’t get any better than Florida speed.

I mean it obviously depends on what other options are on the table but I can think of A LOT of options that are worse than going to play in a wide open offense for a Coach that just went undefeated if I am a speedy athlete and want to play immediately. Maybe that is just me though?

He will never take anyone that we really want from SoFla, but he will get more than enough talent up there from the state of FL to be competitive and shake a few things up in the slow *** Big 10.
