they were awful before he got there and arent awful now.

They have 2 str8 top 25 recruiting classes.

I dont think their fall will be as severe as folks believe especially with how they play the portal.

Us and them are gonna be the big guys in the portal targeting a qb.
Some facts on Colorado.

Average CFB experience at Colorado: 2.42
The Buffalos have an older roster than any FBS opponent that Miami faced this year.

Average 247 composite score: .8707
Colorado on paper is stronger than any of Miami's ACC opponents to date with the exception of Florida State. It's also weaker on paper than Florida

Transfer Portal Players: 50
Colorado has perhaps the highest amount of transfer players on their team, as evidence by the average experience on the roster. Thirty two of them have at least 3 years of experience, so there will be a lot of roster churn in the off season.

High School Recruiting: 19 players
Of the players Deion has brought in 2023 and 2024, 19 were on the roster entering this season. Average composite score was .8741, although this is being weighed down a bit by an unranked player. Of the 19 high players that Deion has on his roster, five are blue chippers.

There’s guys who will be available in the portal. Are any of them Cam Ward? No but we should be able to find someone to keep this party going. I really hope we can start recruiting quarterbacks at an elite level so we can stop shopping for one every year but we may not have anyone capable until 2026.
Just curious is the kid at Indiana coming out or does he have another year. Not saying he would leave there but that kid is good!!!!

Ok but who? There's this obsession with the portal when reality is the success stories are based mostly on luck because they either have a long injury history, talented backup behind great QBs which their aren't many this year or QBs who could've went to the draft but decided to stick it out like Cam. I mean whenever I ask who might be the plan it's always " I have no idea we'll just find somebody" again that's hope and prayer and how you'll make a mistake
Agreed. As of now, almost every name being thrown out there is far from a surefire starter, or improvement over what we have. From those names not a single one is worthy of being told to portal in based on being given the starting QB role. If they want to come in to compete for a role, then great.

My thing has been a young, high upside QB who's basically a lottery ticket but also and I'll be the only one but I've always thought Emory is sleeper even in HS. Accurate, smart, can read the field well, not flashy but he's a driver just like all the productive QBs this year outside of Sanders, Nussmeier and Cam who may not be NFL starters but they keep everything in order around them for the playmakers to succeed that's all this offense needs

FSU’s recruiting class is finally about to collapse, their top 3 commits are all on flip watch including their TE commit as well. Losing those 4 would set them down to 7 commits and barely in the Top 100 overall with a month left. I think they are going to have to resort to 2 and 3 star recruits because recruits won’t want to commit to a school with a coach on the hot seat.

The amount of work, money, staff turnover, and roster turnover they will have to go through is unprecedented for an offseason.

It's going to be insane.

They either have to keep the current staff to save and try to clean house after next season or get a new coaching staff and give Mike at least two more years to try to get it together. At the same time try to recruit at a top 10/15 level.
