Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

they were awful before he got there and arent awful now.

They have 2 str8 top 25 recruiting classes.

I dont think their fall will be as severe as folks believe especially with how they play the portal.

Us and them are gonna be the big guys in the portal targeting a qb.
There's going to be more big name programs looking for qbs than people give credit for. OU, USC, Michigan/LSU ( whoever loses on Underwood), Louisville, ND, I think UGA should definitely, Auburn, Indiana is #8 they'll be hot too, Ole Miss if Dart leaves and Missouri. I'll keep saying it I don't trust the portal market coming up for QBs

I think he is talking about Colorado.

And I still think he's wrong.

The "Top 25 recruiting classes" are almost entirely Portal guys for Colorado. Not sustainable, particularly with constant rumors of Neon leaving.
your right but when the sons leave i wanna see how it goes. I still think he will be able to pull guys in the portal. Its basically THE SAME as us...i bet a bunch of you are optomistic that we will pull a top qb in the portal because of what Cam Ward did...why would it be any different with Deion?.

**** he may pick off the Pancake dude off of our team that everyone is so worried about on the OL.
They probably need to portal 2 wrs in but they have actually recruited solidly there.

They have some talent returning, i dont think they bottom out like fsu. lol

He has sort of created a thing that for whatever reason folks are still interested in.

I have had in the last month or so...had 3 different either family or friends with no allegiance or fan dom to colorado ( one played cb at kansas state, the others are my cousins that are canes fans) that want to fly to ****** colorado to catch a game. lol Id imagine with recruits its even higher as these are folks in late 30s -40s.

You can strike Lsu off the list. Their qb is a junior and isnt gonna be chasing money...they can likely pay him to stay. His dad is the qb coach for the LA Chargers he gets drafted whenever he comes out regardless.

OU has a true freshman at qb and Jackson Arnold is a soph. They may not be in play for a qb unless one leaves and i definately dont see Hawkins leaving.

USC- YES. Their hc always is in the portal for qb

Indiana- is not beating out Miami for a qb

Louisville- Will definately be in play. Theyir NIL showed to be fu fu this year.

UGA- Im not to sure they will be in play. They probably are paying out alot of NIl to their current qb room behind Beck.

I aggree with you though we better be back dooring currently..because there may not be a bunch of cam ward types and you have to choose wisely...it will be the difference in landing a Fernando Mendoza type or another tier type prospect. You cant always trust the transfer qb portal.

Will likely be battling ND, USC, Ole Miss (Lane Kiffin)

All of this also changes with coaching movement as well. Just hope our HC is back channelling qbs from now...

A lot of teams are going to chasing top portal QBs. The believe is Auburn going all out to get a QB cause whats his name going into year number 3 and he needs to get some wins. I'm curious where Colorado falls in the pecking order. Could be high or they could be waiting for awhile

I think Prime is going to kill it in the portal I mean he's Prime id go to play for him. With that said Sheduer and Trav cover up so much so now you have to replace both do an insanely good job to nake up for it which is hard. At least here there's not that many issues where you can't see them making the moves to succeed so he'll get ballers but will it lead to like 8 wins next year? I doubt that

Will any of Florida's top 2025 prospects make late flips?

Florida prospects make up 12.3% of the 2025 ESPN 300 and some of the state's very best prospects hit November as high-profile potential flip candidates.

Let's start with Florida State. The Seminoles' 2025 class has crumbled amid the program's 1-8 start this fall with five ESPN 300 pledges leaving Mike Norvell's incoming class since the start of the regular season. Those departures leave Florida State with five ESPN 300 prospects still committed in 2025, and none more important than five-star offensive tackle pledge Solomon Thomas (No. 13 in the ESPN 300).

Thomas has kept a quiet recruitment and returned to Florida State multiple times since he committed to the Seminoles last December. Yet Thomas' visit to Miami during the Hurricanes' 36-14 win over Florida State stoked fresh speculation, and sources within the state believe his recruitment could turn as the Seminoles navigate the final months of a disastrous 2024 season.

Also on Miami's in-state radar this month are five-star LSU athlete pledge D.J. Pickett and four-star Oregon wide receiver commit Dallas Wilson, however sources in the state believe both are unlikely to flip in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere in Florida, four-star cornerback Ivan Taylor (No. 50 in the ESPN 300) remains committed to Michigan despite Alabama's continued efforts to flip ESPN's fifth-ranked cornerback prospect. Colorado is among the program's working hard to flip Merritt, No. 52 in the ESPN 300, from his Ohio State pledge, while Notre Dame is set to host four-star Florida defensive end commit Jalen Wiggins later this month.

I hear what you are saying.

But what Miami could/can offer a Portal QB is great RBs, WRs, OLs, and TEs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Colorado will lose both Hunter and Horn from their WR corps (Wester and Sheppard too?). The OL is meh. Do they have TEs? The RBs are mid.

I'm not saying Colorado won't be looking for the next Cam Ward, they will. But what they have to offer in terms of returning production in the running and receiving games...is not impressive.

The issue is not whether they might eventually have talent in a couple of years. The issue is that almost all of their WR production leaves, and the RB production is not great. WHY would a guy like Cam Ward consider a one-and-done in this kind of situation?

Sure, Colorado is a fun trip and there is some curiosity out there. Same reason you try to **** a ***** in Vegas. Doesn't mean that Colorado will succeed in the Portal in 2025. ****, I remember the day when F$U and Prison Mike were dominating the Portal too...

Gotta separate Cam from the next crop to properly gauge expectations. Cam was like winning a $500 billion powerball. But there should at least be a handful of very good qb prospects available and we'll be expected to be perceived as a top destination. I imagine USC, Oregon, and at least a handful of SEC powers (Auburn, Mizzou, Ole Miss ) will be in market for portal qb.

I'd be happy with $100 billion....
