Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

they were awful before he got there and arent awful now.

They have 2 str8 top 25 recruiting classes.

I dont think their fall will be as severe as folks believe especially with how they play the portal.

Us and them are gonna be the big guys in the portal targeting a qb.
Not calling you out at all and somewhat agree about their fall, but where are you finding CU with two top 25 classes? Are you counting the transfers? Per 247, they only brought in 12 HS players last year and were ranked 95th. The year before, they were ranked #30 for HS recruits and the big bump was because of Cormani. They're also #79 this year - even though that's not over. He has added some talent, but will be depending on the portal a lot once again.

You can strike Lsu off the list. Their qb is a junior and isnt gonna be chasing money...they can likely pay him to stay. His dad is the qb coach for the LA Chargers he gets drafted whenever he comes out regardless.

OU has a true freshman at qb and Jackson Arnold is a soph. They may not be in play for a qb unless one leaves and i definately dont see Hawkins leaving.

USC- YES. Their hc always is in the portal for qb

Indiana- is not beating out Miami for a qb

Louisville- Will definately be in play. Theyir NIL showed to be fu fu this year.

UGA- Im not to sure they will be in play. They probably are paying out alot of NIl to their current qb room behind Beck.

I aggree with you though we better be back dooring currently..because there may not be a bunch of cam ward types and you have to choose wisely...it will be the difference in landing a Fernando Mendoza type or another tier type prospect. You cant always trust the transfer qb portal.

Will likely be battling ND, USC, Ole Miss (Lane Kiffin)

All of this also changes with coaching movement as well. Just hope our HC is back channelling qbs from now...
Here's my thing and I'll be in the minority but I think this is one of the worst QB seasons ive seen in college so off rip the pool is small from players who've actually proven themselves and QBs you're actually comfortable with.
Now LSU I doubt Nussmeier stays tbh I think he's better than McCarthy last year and you know what happened
OU has been awful at QB and Venebals has to be on the hot seat at this point I think he has to do something drastic
USC we agree with and Riley is desperate especially if they lose Lewis
Indiana won't pay more but they'll pay smart because nobody wanted Rourke but them and they made the smartest signing
UGA lets be real if Rashada was good he'd be starting and even then that speaks to the portal if he sucks they regret that signing
Haven't even brought up Michigan, Washington, Colorado etc
Like my biggest issue is I don't think there's a plan this year for the portal except hope and prayer and I don't want that at all but everybody else is just all in and I think it's crazy because my eyes see **** at QB almost everywhere

One of the best parts of this season is listening to Nole fans being more geeked to see us take a L than them winning any game. Every week no matter who we play “Canes are going to lose”.

Them boys down bad! Love to see it.
Well, if there are any experts on losing, it would be FSU fans. When they say we might lose, we might want to listen. ;)

For fun I have been telling FSU fans they are going to win every week. Only to watch them suffer when they don't. I like getting their hopes up.

I'm not going to post the link because I don't want to give him more views, but Bud Eliott saying that injuries are "absolutely a factor" in the season results is a new excuse that I haven't heard yet.

Edit: Never mind, here's the link if you care. LOL

I’ve been watching these from Bud because it’s just so funny

There’s guys who will be available in the portal. Are any of them Cam Ward? No but we should be able to find someone to keep this party going. I really hope we can start recruiting quarterbacks at an elite level so we can stop shopping for one every year but we may not have anyone capable until 2026.

Ok but who? There's this obsession with the portal when reality is the success stories are based mostly on luck because they either have a long injury history, talented backup behind great QBs which their aren't many this year or QBs who could've went to the draft but decided to stick it out like Cam. I mean whenever I ask who might be the plan it's always " I have no idea we'll just find somebody" again that's hope and prayer and how you'll make a mistake
