Love the part about having to run up the score to cover the spread. Well duh when the spread is Miami -22 or something like that the only way to cover would be to run up the score genius. Also pretty sure Mario wasn't running the score up to hit the spread he just wanted to beat them by as much as possible.

So let me get this straight...

When we were already up by 22, and then we went up by 29, we were just trying to cover the spread?

Makes no sense at all...

This is why I hate Prison Mike...remember, prior to the season, they were BRAGGING about how great their OLs were, how many STARTS they've had, what a SENIOR group they had, and now they are acting like they have 10 freshmen out there...

I just cant even begin to imagine sitting with a recruit and walking away thinking Norvell is who you want to play for...lispy, soft, probably tells them everything they want to hear, shoulder rubs, just really corny.

Then you have Mario who looks you in the eye, tells you the vision, or in our case where we are and where we can still go, talks about what it will take, nothing will be easy. Commands the rooms. Probably throws in a joke here and there but also parents believe him and want their kids to play for him.

I could go on and on the differences but I have been in a much lower roll in a different sport but I could recruit with the best of them and every parent to a T told me they didnt feel like I was reading from a script. Baseball was the easy part..if you love it and work hard that will take care of itself. We'd make you better and give you a great experience. Socially make sure you can see yourself here without baseball because the day may come whether its injury or you lose the love of playing you still have to like the campus and what it offers, and academically which is why you ultimately go to college, you fit our academic standards but if you dont take care of your academics you wont have baseball or a social life.

Im sure Mario is what I just mentioned but to an even higher bar with unlimited resources to help make someones child the best student, the best athletes and help them become adults while there.
