Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

I don't understand how Parson is "soft". FSU has no QB to compete with. It's literally the opposite. He'd be "soft (subjectively)" going to a **** team being a guaranteed starter.

They are expecting a commitment from a slightly higher ranked QB. Several crystal balls were put in for him before Parson bounced.

Sorry to jump off topic but another under-the-radar, felt like the Orange Bowl was going to collapse game was against Louisville in 2004. It was a Thursday night game so no chance of me being able to get to the Orange Bowl early after work. Ended up going to the game with my dad and my cousin and we had to sit upstairs since we got there right before kickoff. Louisville scored 24 unanswered points to end the first half up 24-7. Brock Berlin and Devin Hester brought Miami all the way back in the second half but gave up a late touchdown to make the game 38-34 with 3 minutes left. Hester had another long return on the following kickoff and Berlin drove them the rest of the way. Frank Gore's 1 yard touchdown won the game with like 8 seconds on the clock. Bedlam.

Would anyone else be surprised to learn that the last "blue chip" Quarterback to win a game at Florida State was...

...

Deondre Francois.

But, yeah, the QB competition in 2023 between Jordan Travis (RS Jr. 3*, 889 composite), Tate Rodemaker (RS Soph. 3* 652 composite), Gino English (RS Soph. 0* walk-on/scout team), Dylan McNamara (Frosh. 0*) AJ Duffy (Frosh. 4* 176 Composite) and hypothetical-Brock Glenn (4* 337 composite) should be tuff. Our 2d QB in this class will end up with a higher prospect score than all but 1 QB on their entire roster.

They had a poster of the UCLA game with the score on it at Scotty's Landing until Scotty was forced to give up the place. Couldn't talk for a couple of days after that game. Amazing that UM lost to Syracuse the week before by a score of 66-13 or some crazy thing ... then beats undefeated UCLA and wipes out their "national championship" shot. What a game.
