I'm happy he committed & proud of him.
This is a big moment for him & he definitely wanted to be a Cane for quite some time, I'm glad he gets an opportunity to stay home & ball out.
I been saying he was he was a take since back June when he came to the Mark Richt 7v7 camps & the staff really liked his upside after evaluating him then.
He's a good football player, versatile with legit natural speed & great length. He might not be a day 1 starter as a CB, but can make an instant impact on ST's as a return man.
A lot people on this board undeservedly hated on this kid heavy, well now he'll be a Cane.
And the Ryan Mayes comparisons need to stop asap, Mayes was a Dr. Krop kid who once he got to MNW the Coaches thought was soft, he didn't have anywhere near the tools & natural ability Bethel has.
This is a Coach Richt eval, not a Folden eval, have some faith. This staff doesn't just take local 3-stars that are no good just for appeasement, if Bethel was really as bad as some of you idiots have been saying he was these last few weeks the staff wouldn't have even entertained it.
